No slips on the copies at my local HMV this morning...but to be honest since Universal have the ugliest slipcovers ever produced I think I'd rather save a bit of dosh and just wait and pick this up when it's a fiver.

Correct me if I'm wrong, you work at HMV right? Put me off with that damn banner, might just plump for the US disc, more features as well.

Saw AS a couple of weeks ago, a VERY good, if flawed, film. I gave it a 7/10 which I thought was a fair score. |

Also the listing on dvdworldusa for the US blu (with the extras) has been changed from confirmed multi region to confirmed region A locked.
Wonderful job they did there, glad I didn't order it before they changed it Last edited by iamtheman; 01-19-2015 at 06:11 PM. |

There has been a definite policy shift by Paramount to RA lock a lot of their new US titles, in recent months, whereas historically it was only the occasional title they had US rights for with overseas rights owned by someone else like Titanic, Gladiator or Braveheart. I would have guessed though that Boyhood was at a high risk of RA locking as rights were split with Universal elsewhere. Hercules was the bigger surprise as that was also Paramount in most of Europe. |
