Anyone hear about how "Limited" this "Limited Edition" set is?

I treat some of these collector's sets as investments of a sort and was able to make a decent profit off of waiting a year or two and selling the iRobot Sonny head (limited to 200) and the Predator head (limited to 500?).

The Ape bust looks pretty cool, but I would prefer to know how many there will be of them before dropping a Benjamin.

Its got the same bust but different movies. IMO USA set is the better deal. Just want to make sure people are aware

I already have all the apes films (except Dawn obviously), but I'm really tempted to get this.

However, I can only justify it if the discs with Battle and Conquest have the extended version option. It really annoyed me that the UK versions were just the theatrical versions.

Does anyone know if this set will have the extended versions too?

Wow, I had no idea the UK versions didn't have the extended versions. I alwways assumed it was the same as the US. I have to imagine, unless they state otherwise, that it'll be the same as the previous UK releases unfortunately.

edit: Looking into it, it seems like Battle is the only one that doesn't have the extended cut, they're available separately as deleted scenes.. Conquest does have it.

I still have this one, and I think it's cool. I'm especially glad that it included the TV series. Bit of a shame that it doesn't look like that show will ever make it to BD, but then I'm not sure if it really warrants an upgrade or not.

There should be 50% off coupon for Fox connect as they always do, that's what happened with the Predator head bust I ordered. If anyone can find one that would be great, in the mean time we have this. I still think 70 bucks for this is a little high, 39 or 49 would be the perfect price
