Keep an eye out over the next few days. I pre-ordered around 70 of these for my Groupbuy but it appears it may not be as sought after as expected so I've just cancelled 40 to go back into stock.

I'm really stuck in two minds about this. I really want to watch this as I haven't seen it yet and I really like the artwork for this but the price and the potential that the release will be cut and not getting the extended is making me think twice.

What to do....

i cancelled 1 of my 2 pre-orders as well since i ordered the german 3d lenticular steel as well with extended cut discs.

only kept 1 just because its 1k

get the German release from amazon.de its the same steel 3D+2D+Bonus Disc +includes Extended cut. i am also hoping it has a lenticular magnet

it works out a few quid more than the entertainment stores copy @£26 which might drop slightly closer to release

Based upon Noah another recent Paramount Steelbook in Germany the standard version on Amazon.de won't have the lenticular magnet. That will be a retailer exclusive.

well even without the magnet its still a better version to get than the entertainment store.

No problem. Like you I have gone for the German Steelbook and Amazon.de is easiest source.
It's a disgrace Paramount are happy to screw UK customers by leaving the film cut and as a result failing to include the extended version everyone else gets.

Uk gets shafted more than any other country i guess

Guys is Germany definitely not the censored version we got? Just want to be 100% sure.

Unsure but it's a 16 rating which would imply its uncut.
In the UK Paramount were offered 15 uncut but insisted on cutting for a 12.

only the 2d is extended though from what i have read but you get an extra bonus disc which you don't get on the entertainment store.

I have returned my US copy of Hercules 3D. I have also pre-ordered the German 3D steelbook. I guess i'll probably be cancelling this Entertainment Store one and just go with the German release, although annoyingly it's working out to be the most expensive of the three! At least that release also has the bonus disc.

was going to say that amazon.de actually has a 2D Extended cut of the film due out that states its the extended cut so it should definitely be in the steel-book.

well to say this weeks been a whole lot of **** is to say the least.

now we get the UK Transformers 4 Amarays and ES steel-book with Imax / and the steel has bonus disk which was not mentioned anywhere even bluray.com shows Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray which to me means 3d and 2d yet it sold as 3d only and no +BONUS DISC

also ES seems to have changed there rating on Hercules steel-book from 12 to 15

so i guess this now comes with the uncut extended 2d while the rest of the UK get (12) cut version Amarays.

the week gets stranger by the minute and all this cloak and dagger crap is doing my head in
