I own the french release too as I couldn't wait any longer and I am more than happy with it. It came with a nice booklet and a slipcover. I can't say the UK cover looks nice though, the likeness of the actors are off.

No I have the US Blu-Ray so I didn't review it, one of the other writers was suppose to get a screener but didn't.

It's the film that established the whole "moment in time" school of filmmaking. When it came out, there were few movies that compared. It pretty much established the Scorcese method of making movies.

Well that's good news then. I was gonna keep it sealed until I heard if it was good or not, and return it if it wasn't.

I'll admit, I'd be a little annoyed if it goes straight into a multibuy offer (e.g. Amazon, HMV, Zavvi etc).

Amazon finally shipped mine. They are taking their time with super saver delivery at the moment.

Watched it tonight... not a lot of grain like Taxi Driver, but a great transfer. What an important movie!

I got fed up with waiting and complaining with them so ordered it from Rakuten for £6 (when the £5-off deal was working). Looking forward to this one!
