and objectively the TT release of Christine is better, whether or not you individually notice it or have the system that might illustrate it more is a different issue. Also what really matters is bringing cost into the equation. If both cost roughly the same, I doubt people would be making the same points.

OK thanks. Never noticed it on my local Blu-ray, but was not looking for it.

Ok, my copies of Christine and Fright Night have just shipped from JB and unless there are other Blu-rays that are not available in North America or ones that are at a much higher price, I won't be ordering from JB anymore. Their shipping charges are really exuberantly priced. The purchase almost matched the shipping. $8.49 for each Blu-ray is way too much I say.

$20 @ JB Hi-Fi NZ

Matches the price of the other Sony releases, Fury and The Patriot.

I find that most JB NZ 4K releases are cheaper, or on a par with Australian releases.

Oh thats good then. Maybe I was mistaken but Ive always noticed in past when NZ members posting prices of new releases they always seemed to be $5 more than the Australian release. Maybe things have changed.

The price differences between NZ and Aus for 4K are all over the place and make no bloody sense at all. Like, it's over twice as much here for the Predator trilogy but the individual discs are about the same and the Deadpool slip of the first one is way cheaper. Although it's mostly Fox and Sony that are inconsistent, most others are roughly similar. Would be nice if Roadshow would actually bother with catalog titles here, we don't even get a local release for The Matrix, Blade Runner, Unforgiven etc etc
