F5300 Gaming Troubles

I just got the 51 inch F5300 plasma television. So far I've been very pleased with its handling of filmed content but have been having trouble with its handling of games on my PS3.

I don't know what exactly I'm seeing but the motion in games is very inconsistent and the image becomes riddled with rainbow hues. In Batman Arkham Asylum this affected bright spots in the dark environment, especially shades of red or orange and in Bioshock Infinite the whole environment was basically a problem.

I haven't done very much to the settings beyond changing the picture setting to Movie mode and setting the color tone to Cool. Any help to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
