Default Blu2008 on the HD DVD forums...

While we appreciate all the blu fans we can get, can we please refrain from trolling the HD-DVD forum website to such an extent? We won another week, sweet action but its not worth causing a shit ton of controversy for no reason. While I dont mind anyone here posting on that side, lets do our best to keep it professional. I am not grindin ya... promise! I love our format just like everyone else. But please, dont make us look bad...

Just a thought...

I haven't looked at the HD-DVD forums lately. I avoid them.
I wish others would do the same. Please be grown ups people. We are not children (I hope) and should not be rubbing this in their faces. If they see that the numbers are this skewed, they can reach their own conclusions. But if you rub it in their face, they will be less likely to buy Blu-ray in the future.

haha my point exactly. I dont care if people go over there and professionally and ethically talk about the format war bout outright bashing is uncalled for. Bashing it on this website is fair game but their website? I dont think that is necessary

I will never register in that website ever. I don't know why do we bother with those folks.

There is alot of people from here doing it, they even come brag about it in threads all the time. It's not unknown here, it becomes a contest who can go to AVS(in particular) and other sites to post stuff they know will cause uproars. Anyone that does not see this here is either blocking it out because they don't want to see it or not surfing this forum.

I was a bit too aggressive, poking holes in thier flawed theories and so forth, the last day or 2 I was just tired of the nonsense the fanboys were saying, kicking my anti-FUD into high gear and then I got banned, I miss those debates, however I'm debating elsewhere now, that's the thing there are always more HD-DVD users to vanquish BTW I think they have 3 mods

I agree. I read those boards sometimes to see their suffering but it makes me cringe when I see an over-enthusiastic Blu supporter rubbing their noses in it.

Really all that crap does is harden their resolve.

I just looked at this site today...I didn't know there's a site like this...how come it looks exactly like ours?... except for the heading?...I thought I was having a twilight-zone for a minute…anyways, not planning to lurk around there let alone register there....I'll just waste my time...I have to much thing going here...I love our site it's very original and considering they mirrored their site after ours that's a complete turn-off and how childish they can be...no originality!!!...can’t blame their members if they do want to drop here..

I avoid DUD forums like a plague, because it is a plague... that takes away common sense.

this was taken from hd-dvd.com

"How is it that the BDA has an ad in Home Media Magazine about this the same week it happened?

And anyone else notice that they didn't start even publishing the High def sales until early this year when blu-ray was in the lead?

Plus, how's it that the numbers are always announced early when they Favor Blu-ray?

I'm not big on conspiracy theories, but it certainly seems as if BDA may be in bed with Home Media Magazine."

hey shouldn't have been such a flaming troll over there, but with ignorance like this, i don't blame people from going over there and dropping down a few words.

well, look what some hd-dvd delusional fanatics say over at Highdefforum.com
after I mentioned how Blu had won yet another week with a whopping 73-27:

"with the number of high profile blu-ray releases against a $200 star trek set (that sold a quarter of what Shrek 3 sold in it's 2nd week), I'm amazed Blu-ray did so badly, especially when Die Hard 4 sold 100,000 on it's own (which is about as many discs as sold on the entire market the week before).

You Blu-ies are buying so few discs for your format even with multiple blockbuster day and dates week in week out it's just not even funny.

What the hell are you going to do when the release schedule looks on HD DVD far more favourably in early 2008 than it does now?"

I mean he is "amazed that Blu did so badly !!! 73% is "so badly" !!!
This is not a joke anymore, those hd-dvd idiots must be on drugs, or what ?

later on in that thread the same guy added:

"I dread to think how embarrasing things could get for Blu-ray next year when there are a LOT more high profile day and date HD DVD releases."

So according to him, comes january it's the end of Blu and there won't be anything left to be released ...
