That case is bigger than DVD and not as big as NISA. Not to mention it doesn't have an art box or slip-cover. No idea where I would fit that on my shelf~

Updated link has pics, prices, etc. GWG pretty much nailed it.

Not 100% sure how i feel. Been paying around 50 for 4-5 eps from the other guys 30 bucks more isnt AWFUL, but its a bit harded to swallow...

Good God that thing looks awful. Thanks for not only over pricing it Pony but also for a really crappy packaging job. Because we can all store that kind of huge butt packaging. Man...to much money. But not only that will they continue the packaging like this when the other episodes come out...dumb, really dumb.

Maybe they'll offer a big LE Art Box with the final set, for all of the volumes to fit into - for an additional $50...

It looks like the case must stack two of the discs, as there are only 2 spindles for 3 discs...

You just stop, you. haha
God forbid that. I'm trying to picture the size of this thing. Is it supposed to maybe be manga or magazine sized?

Looks to be about the size of a standard 8 1/2" x 11" sheet of paper - take 2 discs and lay them out on a sheet of printer paper, it looks about the same size - minimum 8" x 10.5"... or perhaps it's actually A4 size... that would make the most sense...

Aside from the complaints, is there anyone actually going to BUY this set?

Lol, You'd never catch me buying a title like this - I don't do cutesy girl anime, and especially not comedies.

I watched a few episodes of a Yuyuyu fansub out of curiosity, and even though that one is very much like Madoka Magica, it's still too cutesy girl for me...

Well that's a massive disappointment. I was expecting a large price, but I wasn't expecting 4 episode volumes and stupid packaging.

This show does not look like it's worth $90.

I actually enjoyed the show quite a bit, and was honestly considering it before the details came out. But the pic of the packaging totally turned me off.

Manga is all over the place with regard to sizing.

Man at that price that packaging is terrible. I might have accepted it at that price if the packaging was similar to the Aniplex Kill la Kill releases but there is no way I'm buying that at that price.

It's consistent enough to have a general size though. I don't know what they were thinking here but

How about buying that first crap artbox, then they put out the other one which is to date my favorite art box.... it is one of my top 3 favorite anime of all time. Excellent taste! Yeah I bought that EVA original Perfect Collection when it first hit, then I bought the Platinum releases one by one.... I do love my NERV parking decal.

Maybe we should bombard them with complaints and tell them to shove it in a G2 slipbox.
Lower the price to $50 and then more people would be willing to buy it. I would love to get this series but I refuse to support the Japanese price structure here in North America.

Yay someone on RS FB page is voicing their dislike of the Denki-Gai set.

Another person posted this link.

https://www.facebook.com/PonycanUSA

And said voice there as well. I'm sure they will ignore us though.

Already posted my feelings.
