Aaaaarrrrggghhh! I.Cannot.DECIDE!! Someone give me another reason to get the blue original. Marion Cotillard cover keeps calling me but the blue was my original pick. Plus with both actors featured on the blu ray, i don't want a case of too many faces haha

I like the first one because it uses the first shot from the fantastic trailer for the film (one of the best in recent memory):

I asked if they would create a 1-click combo-pack, they will!

Placeholders for direct links to A, B and Combo added to the OP

Hopefully I'm making it easier to make a hard choice

My god, they just keep adding goodies to these. It is kinda disappointing that each slip may end up with slightly different stuff, possibly even different colored discs. Is going to make the decision of which one to get a little bit harder, though leaning towards version B with that lovely image.

OP updated.

PLAIN has verified the timetable (they used it in a reply on FB )

Slip B Exclusive pictures added (people that have been sure they'd get Slip A will most likely break down now... )

So what it comes down to is different slips and disc color along with booklet style (is it known if the booklets are the same content/ number of pages) and if want photo cards or mini poster (both have slight different trading cards as well). Argh, wish there was a version that included everything so this would be easy

The only 'easy' thing to do at the moment appears to be the one-click

With hearing that the Zero Dark Thirty pre-order may be next week I can't bring myself to buy both... yet

Fantastic job on the thread BHolst! If only all threads were managed in such a complete manner!

Yeah, I don't do multiple copies so it'll only be one copy for me, assuming I can get up for it of course.

Amen!

Well I think I'm going to go for both. Slip #2 is my favorite, as I just really like that image, but I agree with what others have said in that it's nice to have both actors on the cover as well.
I can't wait to rewatch this powerful film, when these arrive! Talk about a treat! I, originally, saw this via Netflix rental and always wanted to get it....well here it is, in all it's glory!

Aww shucks, thank you guys!

I've been guilty of the "hit-n-run" thread creation earlier but understood from comments (on another thread) that it wasn't really appreciated, so I thought I'd give it my best shot this time around. I hope I can keep this up for other threads I will be creating!

So, back to business...

OP has been updated (yet again!) with the latest batch of pictures of Slip B, including a description of the difference from Slip A design that PLAIN had posted with the pictures.

Didn't notice that there are only 700 copies available for international customers. That has me very worried. Does anybody remember how long Blue lasted? Hopefully this will last a little bit longer

According to PLAIN themselves, both Blue and Master (amaray) lasted less than 24 hours.

The pre-order date is tomorrow night, but do we have a ship date and/or price point?

This is my first PA purchase so I don't know much about them.

There don't appear to be a shipping date yet and I won't start a guessing game, so...

Going by the price point of previous slipped amaray releases it will probably be ~$33 +S&H. Don't know if they'll be lowering the price for the combo pack, if they do it might just be $1-$4 (with a high probability in the lower end of the scale...).
