It's $14.99 on Amazon now. Can anyone tell me if it's region A locked?

Edit: oops and it's Prime exclusive

Didn't even know this came with a slip. It's not pictured for the link. I was suprised to see a beautiful book-style slip, though, when I opened it. Can't wait to spin this puppy up for a dose of Viking pillaging! (and, yes, some Christianity thrown in for good measure)

So yeah buying this show on blu ray is a real treat. Would be Nice if more shows did this. Sons of Anarchy has also done it and Breaking Bad, walking dead.

Is there more shows that has done it that i am not aware of?
Walking Dead and Breaking Bad episodes are extended on the blu ray versions?

Spartacus (the TV show) does this as well on BD (I have the Aussie releases, so I can't swear for the UK set) -- a lot of its episodes have the option of extended boobs (!!) and blood and, ermm, frolics ... and sometimes also extra character-related dialogue. (How can you ever complain about more John Hannah or Lucy Lawless?!)

I think sometimes you can see why bits get cut, not just for TV suitability or running time. Occasionally, you can see how a scene is dragging, even with its graphic sensibilities, and they just needed to move on. So it's very cool to have the option of which cut to watch. Or to just watch the extended boobs.

Plus, as with Vikings, the BD version brings them more to life, somehow.

Got one show left of Season 3 then I'll be in withdrawal until season 4 starts.
Anyone know when that is?

Pretty awesome, but I have trepidation too.

Hmm, regarding the Extended versions:
This set is region free, but I couldn't work out why I couldn't find any way of playing the extended versions. Turns out they only appear on the menu if the player is set to Region A. On a Region B or C player (or, in the case of my testing, a PC running PowerDVD and DVDFab), the menus only show the Standard version or "Season Mode".

(With the episodes I compared, there mostly only seems to be a few seconds' difference between the versions, anyway.)

I have no clue why they took so long to release the French editions of this show.
I'm glad I waited and didn't buy imported editions as I prefer having my country's but damn, season 3 is only coming in December...
