I avoided buying the 103 so I could hold out for an OPPO UHD universal player. But I really want to use analog outputs for some media.

They might for AUDIO. Pretty sure if they are not allowed to for video at HD or UHD. Even for Audio you are limited in what signal can be carried.

I for one love my Oppo-93, and will certainly buy an Oppo UHD player when it comes out. Hopefully it will also play BD as well.

Yeah, that's what I meant. I am crossing my fingers that they keep the analog audio outputs.

And if history is any indication, this player should also be a similar price point at the 103. I wanted to buy a 103 last year, but I held out.

Own a 93 and a 103D and hopefully we will see a really good blu-ray/uhd player soon. I hope they continue to work on the experimental Samba media player support for all formats which is great.

According to AVAfficianado in the UK, by the end of 2016. You can pay a deposit (I have) to reserve one. no final price yet.

EDIT According to them they will also be doing the multiregion for DVD option from launch, the multizone for BD will follow, though youll be able to return the player for the mod.
