just cant get enough of Austin Powers ......

where would one get a spare double inside tray for these anyway i have never really looked into that.
i would be interested in converting this to a 3-way if you know what i mean .......Yeah Baby

For those of you in Australia I was told by my mate (who woks there) that JB HiFi was getting an Austin Powers Steelbook in June. Don't know if it will be the same one but if history is any indication these Zavvi "exclusives" have been identical to the ones JB ended up with... unfortunately (because this one looks ghastly). And if JB has them there will be plenty to go around.

Very strange how Zavvi call these steelbooks "exclusives". The steel Big Hero 6 which they claim is an exclusive is still freely available from JB Hi-Fi and was sold directly from Amazon Italy.

Maybe they mean "exclusive" to the UK?

Exactly what they mean

Quite often their exclusives turn up on the other Amazon sites across Europe (Germany, Spain etc).

This release is just a redressing of the previous edition, so buy with confidence.

BTW, isn't the automated censorship on this b*ll*cks? Anyone living in s.c.u.n.t.h.o.r.p.e has a really difficult time with it...
2.35:1 as compared to what?

The UK disc (if this is the same thats going to be in the steelbook) isnt exactly a looker, either.

Now if the artwork was THAT, I would buy. This artwork just doesn't suit the film for me.

Wow, this is only the fifth time this week we had to explain what exclusive means. We're getting better.

thanks for the info on the JB hi-fi austin steel ill keep my eyes on that as i love using JB HI-FI

although please note The steel Big Hero 6 you mention is 2D while zavvi is selling the 3D Version.

...i can say Actually i am becoming a sort of addict for their current run of offers which can stack with nicely with the monthly 20% off discounts they do so can work out a lot better than amazon uk and zavvi prices
oh and the customer service is top notch very close to amazon from whenever i message them.

last week i made an order for a Digibook Outlander using the 20% discount and asked them to double bag it ...no problem they told me and sent it in 2 thick heavy duty bags so yes highly recommended and it was also way cheaper than the usa/german/french and all in english at £19 inc delivery no tax/vat needed to uk nice

i am sorry but while it is ok you showing this comparison you have to tell the other side of the coin as well ...

like some films that have multiple versions such as anchorman you really do need to look into getting the version you like as they are not all equal...such as if you want the best out of it you need to invest in both the USA and also the UK version since the USA variant had a lot of cuts to it due to British humour/jokes not playing out well to American audiences during the pre-shows so there are lots of missing sections only available in the UK cut and so had alternate parts replaced in the USA edition irrelevant as to whether the quality of the USA transfer being slightly better some parts didn't fit well with the nature of the humour.

as mentioned i have them all, ..the USA original triple box-set not the shagtastic version and also the original UK 1st revision and when you watching them they are all grainy so take them images with a pinch of salt.

That interior artwork looks atrocious.
That being said, I'll only get this if TSWSM and GM get steelbooks too. Otherwise, it's not worth getting this steelbook without steelbooks for TSWSM and GM to go with it.

My lonely Beverly Hills Cop and Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure steels reluctantly agree....

I agree, however I was primarily addressing your comment about different aspect ratios.
