Was hoping for a 4 film favorites of Free Willy (never saw the 4th one) but this is a good start and a great surprise.

Looking forward to this. Like others have said, the sequel would have been nice along with it, and I guess I'm in the minority about the 3rd movie, I guess because I saw it in the theaters when I was like 7-8, so it holds up for me still. I liked the score in the 3rd one, too.

Am I the only person who loves that the cover of this movie is the actual ending of this film? Like the cover is a spoiler alert...

What's sad is that you refer to people who care about the well-being of living creatures as idiots.

This film was very much in line with Blackfish... There was a phone number in the credits in the original theatrical release (not sure if it was included on home video or not) that people could call to donate to the Save the Whales Foundation. It also brought a TON of attention to Keiko, his story and living conditions and had a huge part in his eventual release back to the wild.

It seems to be a good/cool film, going to watch it and it's sequel on Netflix.

Not so. No spoiler here! The cover is a reproduction of the picture used for the original US one-sheet poster. Here's a link to one on ebay:

Watched it for the first time ever and liked it, the end is happy and sad. I admit I cried, really.
I'll pick this up in the future.
Also, can we expect some bonus content like making-of, interviews and maybe, a documentary about Keiko, the whale who gave life to Willy?

If you want a Keiko documentary, I recommend buying the Blu-ray of Keiko The Untold Story.
