Shouldn't this be moved to the FuturePak, MetalPak and Metal Box Forum? As it is a metalpak and not steel for the Mad Max release...

I'm not sure yet on the Mad Max release, but pics have been shown of the Commando one, and it appears to be not a metalpak or steelbook, but an Ironpak from looking at the back of the spine...

Okay, so it has been confirmed now that these are Metal Boxes, or more specifically, Viva Metal Box. Here is a pic of the groove on the right-hand side when the packaging is closed. Again, thanks to member The Drugstore for these pics...

They were. That's what is making these such a head scratcher.

this is so weird how are we seeing a return a of the Viva cases??

unless the judgment allowed them to remanufacture the design after a certain amount of time had passed?

in any case this is good news because i cant stand metalpak spines

This looks better than the metalpaks. I hope they continue manufacturing them instead of the metalpaks or futurepaks.

I feel the same way you do as far as these are concerned. I haven't yet purchased a metalpak, or a metalbox, but these sure are looking good. Many of these I don't even own yet, so if I'm going to add them to my collection, why not buy these? I think it will come down to cost, if these are $11.99 I might buy a couple of them.

And yeah, I was not a fan of the spine of the Metalpaks. I don't mind the Metalboxes and would be more supportive of buying them.
