Honestly, I'm not a fan of any of the Mondo steels, but I would buy this set in a heartbeat. That's so cool.

Given that these steelbooks are likely late June/July, my guess is Jurassic Park to line up with the new movie. It might not be, but it's more likely than Mad Max or Back to the Future I think.

Either way I've been a big fan of the Mondo line so far, so I'll be adding these to my collection no matter what films they've chosen.

I find most of Stout's work to be rather cookie-cutter and boring. Just sterile and lacking any sort of real uniqueness amongst them. There are some exceptions like Assault on Precinct 13, and his print for Akira (his best imo), which I don't mind.

3 releases in June and it's not a trilogy?! Well, there goes my hopes of collecting every Mondo release. If they're going to turn all Criterion on us and end up releasing 5-6 films a month...I definitely can NOT keep up with that.

I'm glad they strayed from the variant releases. Although it looks weird to have 1 version, 2 versions, 2 versions, 1 version, 1 version

I skipped the variants, so I'm good in that regard.

Yeah, so far I've only purchased one version of each film. Variants from them don't do anything for me.

Yeah. One release a month was perfect. I'll probably just get the ones that really enjoyed watching. Hopefully I don't like all 3.
