[QUOTE=batman2000;10963096]so i have to get an led with motion blur great[/QUOTE

Not necessarily so. I fail to understand your philosophy about getting ripped off,
there are a great many honorable merchants selling goods on ebay, and craigslist. You can find one there I'm sure, also if you pay with Paypal, your purchase is insured. If the seller rips you off, paypal will protect you. Also, you can purchase a warranty through a company called Squaretrade, for a nominal fee, your tv will be covered for repair. But the decision is yours, many people have a phobia about buying used goods, I do not, and over the years I have saved myself Thousands of dollars. In the end you have to decide what your comfort level is.

Go to Squaretrade.com they should have all the info, including the prices on their warranties.

Squaretrade works with any market, either ebay, craigslist or even purchasing from a store. Their prices are very reasonable. If you purchase something off
Ebay and have it shipped, paypal, and ebay will protect the purchase, during shipment, after that you would have to buy a warranty for your home. You can
set up a squaretrade warranty to start the day your tv would arrive.

what 42 inch 1080p plasma has the best motion blur reduction because one of the 42 inch panasonic's didn't get rated well on rtings.com for motion blur.

Bro you'll be lucky to find a 42 inch plasma let alone the one with the least amount of blur. Please buy a tv soon although your posts do entertain me.

Especially when "the motion blur" of a plasma/OLED is the source.

It's too much of slim pickings as it is to be so picky. Anyway, I came across this: http://modia.com/productdetails.aspx...code=pn64h5000

Plasmas are no longer being made so whoever is selling them are not going to lower the prices just because of Black Friday. Basic supply and demand.

While that is a pretty good deal, Batman 2000's budget is only around
$300-$400 bucks!

Ok...

Plasma does not, at all, suffer from motion blur. Period.

Any blur in an emmissive display(essentially everything not LCD) is the source. End. Of. Subject.

You know that the Panasonic Viera series have different picture modes,
one is THX certified, but another is a GAME mode that is specifically for
guess what?, viewing, and playing video games.

Frankly, there are LED sets out there that rival plasma for PQ.

I bought my GT50 in January 2013.

6 months later, I decided I needed a secondary monitor so I decided on a 22 inch version. A few months later I found I needed a larger screen size so I bought a 32 inch version to replace it. The 22 inch monitor is now what I'm using to type this response to your query. Both are excellent monitors and rival the GT50 for PQ in their own way if properly calibrated.

I would get a Samsung LED set and call a day. Some may call this heresy, but I call it being practical.
