Some great news on the DFE cartoon releases from Mark Arnold himself (who's birthday is today!); no laugh tracks on any of the shorts except for Crazy Legs Crane and Misterjaw (which is clearly understandable).

I love THE ANT AND THE AARDVARK and INSPECTOR cartoons, so this is great!

Wish someone would release the Pink Panther cartoons as well, but this is also very cool

Their original aspect ratio is full screen, which is 1.33:1, as they were shown on TV as part of the various Pink Panther cartoon shows. The UA Depatie Freleng shorts other than the Crazy Legs Crane and Misterjaw series were also shown theatrically in a matted widescreen format. So, these blu rays will have the correct aspect ratios and not the matted widescreen.

Never thought I'd see the day in a million years.

These are some really obscure late 60s/early 70s little gems of cartoon series. Not as good as Looney Tunes or Tom & Jerry in their primes, but still good IMO.
