The documentary itself is great. I may buy this as well for the special features.

Hmmm... might Tom Savini be likely to show for that?

So if I were to order this, it would be signed at the event and then shipped to me, or do I have to attend the event? I live nowhere near California.

First review!!!:

Also, wouldn't it be cool if someone made a custom cover for the US release of Creepshow containing the US release of the documentary (sort of like a 2-disc special edition)?

Indiegogo update:

Quote:
Just letting everyone know that the posters and booklets are almost ready to go, and we're on track to start shipping next week. The posters will be 11x17 in size and rolled, not folded. Also the booklet will be 16 pages with some cool photos, and notes by myself as well as Composer John Harrison (who gratefully contributed some lovely words, thanks John!).

Again, make sure you have your addresses updated here! Look for everything to arrive in time for the street date on July 12th!

Creepshow 2 seems like something that might eventually get re-released considering the DVD had good extra features and that US blu-ray is totally barebones. I've held off buying it for that reason (much like I did with Carrie). I did the same with Creepshow, didn't buy it till that great UK edition came out - buying the US disc and this disc will give you an approximation of the same thing, of course. It's pretty tragic the US blu-ray is missing the commentary from Romero and Savini though, which is a good one. There's a second commentary on that one as well. I'd say the UK one is still worth it for big fans of the film for that reason. Same deal with the UK Creepshow 2, I suppose, since that has a couple features.

$15 now at Amazon.

How much a fan of Creepshow do you really have to be for those who like this documentary?

Thinking about pulling ghe trigger on this at this price...

Tough to say. Depends on how much you like documentaries in general. This one is very interesting with lots of great stories and interviews as well as behind-the-scenes footage. I would say it's definitely re-watchable so that's a good plus for any documentary. Also, don't forget about Scream Greats vol 1 - Tom Savini, which is also included. This is a 1-hour vintage doc focusing on the movies and effects of Tom Savini. Lots of great footage from various films, plus lot of great stories by Tom Savini, plus a look at some of his props. It's a lot of entertainment value for the price.

If you were an IndieGoGo contributor, the exclusive perks have been shipped and are coming.

I received mine earlier today, packed in a large box. The poster comes nicely rolled, and the thick booklet is included seperate from the sealed Blu-ray. A thank you page is also included from Michael Felsher.

Appreciate your take on it. Thanks.

It does seem like the exta features are not only vast, but solid in value, and not just throwaway stuff.

I'll sit on it for a day but will probably end up snagging it I imagine.

I've been thinking about this since it was $25. With the price drop, I know I've spend the same on a lot worse , so I'm excited about this now.

This is a great disc. The inclusion of Scream Greats almost makes it worth a purchase by itself!

The lineup for the 11/19 Dark Delicacies signing (which can still be pre-ordered on their website) has been finalized: Sean Clark, Andrew Kasch, Buz Wallick, and Pasquale Buba.
