They were out of these at the BB I checked. I asked if they still had some in-store, and the guy said no. Why, you ask? They had a midnight opening for the latest Halo game, so they were all gone by 1am CST here.

Got my Pixels Metal Pak yesterday in the mail. The front of the metal pak had scratches all over it but they blended into the paint so they are barely noticeable at a distance but when you have it in hand & check out the sheen of the metal pak you can see them good. The Bluray hub in my metal pak was so tight that it was hard to get the disc out & when I did get it out the hub on the disc looked like it had been melted but I watched the movie twice yesterday & didn't seem to encounter any playback problems.

Yeah, I see little micro-scratches on mine too. They blend in well until you get up close in the light, but even then they aren't too bad. I honestly think it couldn't be helped. Even Steels are likely to get them in transit.

Had planned on getting this but by the time I got to BB they only had 2, one which was very clearly dented and the other had a deep scratch right in the middle of Pac-Man's mouth. Ended up getting the Target Donkey Kong lenti slip instead.

Rare really?? If you enter zip code 53223 on BestBuy website it shows it available at a whole bunch of stores in Wisconsin.

There were 5 on the shelf at my nearest BBY when I got mine today. I'm sure if this was a SteelBook, the demand would be much greater.

Does the cover of anyone else's copy have light/faint scratches? Not enough to remove the paint, but you can see them under direct light. They appear to be the result of manufacturing, maybe the cases sliding on some kind of surface?

The back side, which was protected by the card, is pristine.

Well, what better way to move copies of movie that did bad in the box office. By now the studios are picking up on collectors buying metal packaging regardless of the contents. lol

Maybe out there. But all of California inventory was low. I think it was intentional in this region.
