God youre bad at that!' to which Eric says 'What? That was dead on! Right guys?'. It pans to the Steven Tyler cutout where he goes 'I bought it. BLAHH!' and then the Joe Perry cutout that says 'You uhh really think Im dreamy??' Then back to Donna who goes 'Whoa. The station managers stuff is way better than ours!'. Anyways heres the question. I got the 2008 'Stash Box' DVD set and when it cuts to the Aerosmith cutouts their mouths actually move and also the Joe Perry cutout actually winks after delivering his line. On Netflix these effects are gone. They pan to the cutouts and we only hear the voices. I think some of the recent TV airings are like this too. Just curious are these effects missing from this scene on the BD set???
Checking...no lips moving at all, just bad imitations.

That's really weird that two versions exist of that o__O I wonder why that is.

Anyway, I've watched up through the first disc of season 6 and haven't had any major playback issues or anything. Overall I'm pretty satisfied with this set.

I watched the entire set over Christmas and thought it was great. Not sure why all the hate for this set but I was pleased and happy with the price I got it for.

Doubt it but does this scene in the new set still have the version of this scene where the mouths of the cutouts don't move towards the end??

Would I be right in thinking that getting the German version would be best or would the same issues that plague the US version be there too? The price difference is very little but I want to ensure I get the best version.

German version is superior to the Mill Creek release, I compared and viewed both and there is no comparison.

Donna is good looking, but I still prefer Jackie. And she only got hotter as the show went on! I'm almost done watching through the show, got a few more episodes left.

Season 8 is... okay. Not great but not AWFUL either lol.

Yeah I also personally find Jackie sexier than Donna annoying and spoiled as she may be (Jackie, not Mila). Catholic School Donna was pretty sexy though.

Interesting, what were the main differences that made the German version better?

Looks like this voice-over was removed as well.

I wonder why both Amazon and BBY both have this in the mid's $60's as the price, thought it was in the $40 price range.

My one disappointment is That 70's musical which seems to be sourced from a lot of SD material like over 50%. Granted some of the episodes use the SD clips I am assuming because the HD or 35mm source material is not available.

Yeah I'm betting it's just the discs repackaged and without the bonus material.

I wonder if this new one will be any cheaper. I've been waiting on a decent price drop on the series since it came out.

Yeah. They need to actually go back and remaster this set. Some "epsidodes" look great, others look like a vhs rip.

I was under the impression that that's all to do with the source. I think trying to fix those would be more trouble than it's worth.
