With Pitch Perfect 2 I was able to get a free movie with the gift code and a free movie with the movie's UV code. Is that normal? Also. Flixster worked for me if you search for the movie to redeem but the generic entry page doesn't work...

Due to geographical restriction im unable to redeem my pitch perfect codes for a bonus. The website loads and when I select the movie it times out . Can a trusted member help me if I send them the codes , can they send back the ultraviolet for me ? You can then redeem anything extra if its still dual

It must be a case by case basis, because Spartacus and The Break-Up, were redeemed at Flixster (one of them on Friday ) and are still a "Go" at universalhidef. On the other hand I redeemed Street Fighter tonight (10/11) on Flixster, and I check in at universalhidef to see what would come up and got this message about, tomorrow 10/12.

It just worked for me -- Bring It On with the official code; For a Good Time, Call... with the UV code. Also got Conan the Destroyer with my Furious 7 code from my Best Buy Steelbook, even though the offer isn't mentioned on the slips in that edition. (Wasn't even aware of the offer till I saw it in a JW unboxing video, and only now noticed from this thread it came with F7 & PP2 also.)

So, Jurassic World comes with one code for the bonus movie and the UV/iTunes...if I redeem the code on the bonus site, does it burn the UV/iTunes or require redemption of it immediately?

I already have the digital copy of Jurrasic World from the CinemaNow preorder, so I'm wondering if I can get the extra movie for myself and still trade/resell the UV/iTunes portion.

I was considering getting getting a digital copy of Jurassic World through the trading forum. If I pick up a full code, could I redeem it on UV and get the free movie, and redeem it on iTunes (or trade the iTunes code)? I use Vudu, so should I redeem on Vudu, then redeem for the free movie? I'm not sure of the process. I normally go with iTunes, if I can, but my son got a tablet that's not iOS, so I've been getting some movies on UV if he wants them on his tablet. I was debating on whether to get the iTunes copy or the UV. He said he wanted it on his tablet, so I'm leaning towards UV, especially if there's a bonus movie (although I'm not sure if I care for any of the selections). I was debating, however, on getting the full code (if the price is right), but haven't decided how I want to use the codes. If I want to redeem it in both or just sell/trade the iTunes.

The bonus UV movie, JW's UV redemption and JW's iTunes redemption are all independent of each other. Redeeming the bonus UV movie has no impact on either the UV or iTunes redemption of JW. (Nor does redeeming JW in UV affect iTunes, or vice versa -- even though both appear on the same page at the Universal Hi-Def site.)

As I just posted, the three redemptions (bonus UV, JW UV & JW iTunes) are all independent of each other; you can redeem all three or any combination of them independently. None of them disqualify you from the other two.

For JW in UV, you can redeem that at Vudu as you normally do, or use the URL on the slip (which gives you Universal's own UV site, Vudu, Flixster & CinemaNow as UV options). If you use a site other than Vudu, make sure both that site & Vudu are linked to the same UV account.

If you use the URL on the slip, you can also initiate your iTunes redemption of JW from there. However, that basically just generates an iTunes-specific URL to the "redeem" page on iTunes. If you don't wanna go to the Universal site, you can just open iTunes and re-enter the code on the "redeem" page there (same as gift cards).

The bonus movie, however, is UV-only. You must enter your email address and the code at the URL in the OP, then select your movie. This generates a second UV code, both as a link on the final page and as an email. If you click the link, the only possible redemption is thru Universal's own UV site; the code in the email can be entered at either Universal or Flixster (unsure if it'll work at Vudu or CinemaNow). As with the JW UV redemption, if you redeem at a site other than Vudu both sites must be linked to the same UV account for it to appear in Vudu.

Heads up if you've been using the same email for these redemptions. Having used 3 from F7, 1 from PP2, and 1 from JW, I went to the site to redeem a second code from JW. After entering in my email and 2nd code, the screen to choose a movie came up, I picked a title, and got this message.

I tried to use the code with another email address, but got 'the code entered is invalid 'in red. So it looks as if the code was burned by using the first email. I can still use the original email and code to get to the select a movie screen, but the PlayLimitReached page comes up.

Long story short, I recommend switching up emails to avoid the "MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GIFTS" message.

Anyone else choose the hulk as their only redemption movie? I personally was interested in the other movies except the hulk. I have been wanting to add that movie to my digital movie library for quite some time. I would have liked if it had been the 2008 hulk instead but it's good for what was offered.

So I'm hearing through the woods that there's a MAX limit of 5 Gift movies you can redeem. Once you hit 5 Gift movies you are done.. This is Total across all of the promo movies being offered meaning if you already used up 5 gift movies you can NOT get a Gift movie from lets say Minions. Not totally confirmed yet though.

One code should work for all redemptions. The offer website will give you the bonus movie, and you can redeem the movie normally on Itunes and a UV provider (I redeemed the bonus movie and ITunes, and then gave the code to my friend for UV)

And you use the code that comes with the movie for the movie purchased on VUDU or Flixster?
