I was lucky enough to get into the Amazon panel at Comicon yesterday, and as a surprise they showed the entire first episode at the end. I had to leave about halfway through because I had to be at another event, but I really liked what I saw. Very good production values and the Jack Ryan character feels true to the books and movies. John Krasinski is the perfect cast for the role IMO. Amazon went all out to promote the show. There were ads everywhere and a huge off-site activation. I'll definitely watch the show when it drops.

I just watched the Pilot, es was pretty good. You can see in every second the the budget was very high. The Storytelling is slow and remembers a bit of Homeland, accept Krasinski is way more sympathic than the chick from Homeland.
In the end of the Pilot is a lot of awesome action. Looking forword to see the rest of the season.

where is the Ultra HD version?...I only see the 1080p version on Amazon's site?...Amazon has the worst interface when it comes to finding 4K versions of their programming

It is separate, you have to look for it, till say like ultra HD jack ryan.

I don't know why Amazon could offer you the best version possible like Netflix does.

You have to scroll down alot till you find in the TV section UltraHD and then select that section and you find it there.

Having had a look at it. Episode 8 has an inflammatory title to episode description. You'd have thought maybe despite the cliched content of said episode, they're maybe smart enough not to use such wording for an episode. Guess not

Just regular HDR and 2-channel stereo for Jack Ryan on the ATV4K. Regardless of the lack of anything Dolby, the first episode was fantastic. Can't wait to watch more.

Yes they are with Prime Video App

I finished Episode two, also very good. Slow storytelling, never boring and once budget you can see that every cent of the 8 Mio Budget per Episode is well spend, the look is cinema quality.
Once Again Action is only at the end of the episode like 2 Minute, but this action was awesome
