Just like Lone Ranger, this is another underrated movie.

I totally loved it and would've welcomed a sequel. Unfortunately it flopped so not holding my breath

Same, and it's sad. This movie felt like the warm-up for a much bigger, better sequel (not that this was bad). Felt the same way about Ritchie's Sherlock Holmes movies; first was OK, but the sequel just blew it out of the water. Probably won't get to experience that here...

Has anyone purchased the Walmart exclusive?

http://www.walmart.com/ip/The-Man-Fr...usive/47055708

I'm assuming it's just a Vudu digital copy?

They have one of the highest prices on it, so I'm guessing they won't be selling too many copies.

Really want this movie, not at $22.
It's almost black Friday week, it should be $15 by then.

This was a blind buy for me and I am glad I got it. It's very good in my opinion. I also like that the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice trailer is on the disc.

Based on the opinions here, I will give this a rent. I do admit I have trepidations. I don't want this to be another Wild Wild West, Lone Ranger, or Green Hornet. (Why is it that TV series of the 1950s and 1960s where the two stars depended on each other and had a friendship without any conflict, in the remake they only have conflict and no friendship?)

Out of curiousity, those here who are praising the film, were you fans of the TV series first? Or am I so old that I am the only one who saw it when it aired?

This is more of an oceans 11 style fun caper flick.
I did used to watch the TV show

Watched it and was surprised that it turned out better than Spectre. This is an update of a Bond spoof! Ritchie made the type of film that just doesn't get made anymore. Nice pace, locations & performances. Easily the best popcorn flick I've seen so far this year.

Its more serious than those 3 films.
WWWest and Lone Ranger are "period pieces".
Green Hornet is made to be cool for nowadays and set in modern times.

UNCLE is Mad Men on steroids in terms of costume design and "old world" architecture. They did there homework where its era specific yet glitzy enough for modern oversaturated eyes.

Its not a deep plot at all. Its more of an origin story/prequel.
Its well paced eye-candy. Now they can ramp it up, get a serious antagonist, and layered storyline for Part 2 w/ the established team.

Its like James Bond before it got too "dark/serious". Fun bright w/out over-doses of comedy.

The subtle comedy was my favorite part of the movie. I prefer humor that doesn't beat you over the head and this qualified.

Watched it again last night after seeing it in the theater and enjoyed it every bit as much the second time around. Easily one of my favorite movies of the year.

Keeping my fingers crossed that we get a sequel.

Hey, try and use third party sellers. I got a copy for 15.99. Granted, there's a four buck charge in shipping costs but that ain't too bad.
