When I said that our dollar was lower. At that time it was around $1 USD = $1.45 CDN and all the talk was on how we hadn't seen the worst yet. Since then our dollar has seen a bit of a bounce back to around $1 USD = $1.38 CDN. Whether this means we have hit the bottom of our dollar and it has stabilized or this is a little blip in radar remains to be seen.

Hopefully at some point Amazon or the others will have a preorder program similar to the E3 preorder sales for games. After the 30% off during Amazon's sale, games cost a little less than $59.99. Not ideal but it's certainly better than full price. As for games, I'm glad I had the foresight to preorder everything even remotely interesting in 2013. Getting Uncharted 4, Division, etc. at $45 taxes included on release is a great deal.
