When I built my shelf, I made the shelves tall enough to only hold blu-ray's. No DVD's for me.

Because most of the good stuff isn't available on BR. And I'm kind of glad it isn't because I don't want to buy it all over again.

DVD's will always have a place on my shelf as well. I prefer Blu-ray but if a movie isn't available on BD or if it's OOP and insanely over priced, I'll settle for the DVD. No skin off my nose.

I ridiculed people for watching DVDs once I got big into blu-rays. Now I'm eating my words as 95% of my purchases in the last year have been getting all of the Criterion DVDs.

I still have blu-ray only shelves and I'm debating on whether or not to integrate DVDs. Right now my favorite films that are only on DVD are in the lower depths of my cabinet drawers.

And yet another reason to enjoy DVD's...

Again, probably not an A list kind of film but one that caught my eye nonetheless. And it even featured Jane Asher! As of yet, there's never been a blu release for it. Just ordered it since it's so cheap.
