I'm not saying I'll be disappointed in you if you order Suicide Squad statues...but I'm also not not saying it.
I don't know just yet. Its going to be $2400 total if they don't raise the price, but that also looks like its going to be 6 to 7 feet long.

How many are they making? Custom pieces always hold their value don't they?

You're REALLY not going to want to hear this but I actually want the Letoker more out of the two.

Dang, that's a lot of money. Speaking of expensive statues, did you see the ES on the legendary scale Batman is only 250? I bet it still doesn't sell well then they'll assume there's no interest in that scale and kill the line...even though it's their own poor choices that caused the problem.

The Daredevil has an ES of 40. Custom pieces usually hold their value.

Letoker doesn't exist in my mind, I blocked him out. Are you going to get a Clooney Batman to go with him?

So Disney has all the Marvel characters back now (assuming the government doesn't block the deal). The CEO already said they'd still do rated R Deadpool movies which is a plus. Do you think they'll recast all of the X-Men characters and start over? I can't imagine they'll continue with what they have at the moment. That timeline is such a convoluted mess. Maybe I'll actually like the X-Men now!

Wow thats low. I'm not surprised either due to the pose, but I'm sure most that wanted a 1:2 Batman just bought the Batfleck. I hope they do a 1:2 Supes for you but I can't in good conscious ever encourage you to buy another Sideshow piece.

Thats good to know if I ever decide to buy one.

Isn't the Batfleck from Justice League the same as Clooney?

I guess as long as Deadpool continues to be rated R thats all I care about. I'm not excited as most are for this deal because I liked having all the different options from different studios as far as Marvel goes. But we'll see once movies start coming out, I may come around. Yeah, I think they'll recast everyone except Deadpool.

I'm sure if they do actually put out a 1:2 Superman, he will be in a horrible pose with tons of QC issues.

Batfleck from JL was pretty bad. I'm not even a Batman fan and I thought some of his lines felt out of place for Batman.

I have never been a huge fan of any of the X-Men movies. I enjoyed X-Men 2 a lot when I first saw it, but that was mainly because Wolverine was a badass. I'm hoping Disney can make me like them. Same with the Fantastic Four. Although I think Reed Richards and Sue Storm are two of the lamest Marvel characters. I've always thought The Thing was decent and Ultimate Spider-Man made me like Human Torch.

So remember how I was talking about only needing one Hot Toys character from each non-OT movie? Now I'm thinking I need zero characters from the new movies. I may sell all of my TFA figures.

Well I guess if you're prepared for it to look like crap you'll be less dissapointed if Sideshow makes one. I honesty don't think they'll make one.

When someone who isn't even a Batman fan notices how uncharacteristic his lines were in JL then its really obvious how much they screwed him up.

I'm open to see what Disney does with X-Men but I'm thinking I won't like it as much as Fox's movies. I'm fully prepared to be in the minority on that.

OMG. How is this movie that bad? What have they done? I'm avoiding the threads because I'm trying to dodge spoilers but I'm really curious to see how this is being received by other fans.

No, I don't think they'll make one either. The low Batman sales will ruin any chance Superman has. Which is, again, Sideshow's own fault for making a poor product.

Ha, yeah when Batman threw out that one liner after being thrown against the car even I cringed.

Here, this will help you see how fans are receiving this movie without spoilers. Just for reference, Attack of the Clones currently has the lowest audience score at 57%.

You'd think they'd learn. But part of me is glad they haven't. I've loved bashing them over the years .

I'm so happy that even made you cringe. There may be hope in you becoming a Batman fan yet!

OMG. I wonder if Disney will learn anything from this. Was it just the movie that was bad, or were the characters bad too?

Ha, the Sideshow bashing is quite enjoyable. I still wish someone would make a perfect 1:4 scale Vader. I might actually buy it, but I still haven't seen one that fits the bill. Sideshow's 1:2 is about as close as it gets unfortunately.

I've read enough comics with Batman to know that's not how he acts! See I don't mind all the humor in the MCU movies because comic books generally have humor like that in them. Although some like Batman usually don't.

I'm not saying anything else. You just need to see the movie.

Which 1:4 Vader might you buy? Sideshow's? I'm confused lol.

I need to work on my level of accepting CBM humor. I always viewed the movies as being able to deliver more depth and gravitas to the characters than I could find in the comics which Is why I always preferred the more serious ones. At least I have as I've gotten older. 20 years ago I'm sure I would have loved the MCU so much more.

I don't even know if I want to see this thing anymore. I knew I might have had a problem with it when I was more looking forward to Justice League over TLJ this year. I pretty much blame that on TFA. Now I'm thinking I might just wait to see this on Blu, or discounted Blu even .

No, I was saying that even though I don't collect 1:4 statues anymore, I would still buy one if a company actually made a perfect representation of him. So far nobody has.

Star-Lord and Nova were constantly cracking jokes or being sarcastic in all those cosmic comics I read, that's just how they are. But I get that sometimes they make jokes at the worst times during those movies or they force too many in.

Just go see it. Hey, you'll probably like it since I didn't. That seems to be the pattern, ha ha.

Oh now I see what you're saying. Just wait till Prime 1 gets the SW license in 1:3. Once you get your first 1:3 piece you aren't going to want any other scale anyways.

I'd probably feel differently if I actually read comics that had jokes too. Batman doesn't have jokes. Or parents.

Well that does seem to be the pattern. Its even beyond that though, if the movie is hated by most I love it, if the movie is loved by all I'll most likely hate it. I still can't understand you people with your Lord of the Rings obsessions.

I can't see Prime 1 ever getting the license. Plus it would just be a bunch of museum poses. I'd rather collect the dynamic XM pieces. Too bad shipping prices are killer on those.

Ha, that got dark.

Lou posted that the movie was awesome so there you go, you may like it. Lord of the Rings is so epic! Plus I read all the books when I was younger so that may have helped.

Oh I think they will definitely get it, I just think its going to be awhile. But isn't a museum pose what you want for Vader?

Ha I know. I guess I just like my characters dark and flawed. Like Bruce's mom Martha was flawed by the gaping bullet wound in her chest. Okay I don't know whats wrong with me right now

I figured Lou would like it. He likes everything lol. At least now I'm starting to get interested in seeing this movie again with all the different opinions out there. I may have been different with LotR if I read the books when I was younger. I remember when they announced we were reading The Hobbit in claas half of the class cheered, I just sat their cluless thinking "what the f*** is a Shire?"

Maybe. They could make a really cool action pose for him. Preferably one that comes with a ROTJ Luke so it's a duel.

I would judge you for that, but there was a thread in the movie section on here titled "movies infamous for being violent or disturbing that aren't" and people were saying films like A Serbian Film aren't disturbing. I seriously questioned their psyche. I just read the synopsis to that movie and was sick to my stomach.

True, I've never heard Lou say he didn't like a movie. I think I'm just going to stick with all of my non-canon EU Star Wars books. The Thrawn trilogy is a million times better than this new sequel trilogy.

You know what the Shire is, you secretly love it!

Did you see the new Kotobukiya Luke that comes with parts for Vader so you can pose them like this? They look pretty cool but are way too small.

I just looked up that movie. That is seriously f***ed up!!! Like, seriously what the hell is wrong with the person that came up with that?

Thats what I keep telling people to do! Even most people that like the new SW movies still seem to like the old books better. I still treat some of my favs as canon.

I'm sorry to disappoint you, but me and the shire just aren't meant to be.

That's pretty cool, but those are definitely too small. I'm not sure how Koto does on human faces either.

Yeah, I'm sorry you had to be made aware that movie exists. I wish I had never heard of it! Seriously disgusting.

There are a lot of good EU books. I've never read the one where Palpatine comes back and keeps force jumping into other clones or whatever. That one sounded a little silly to me. Maybe the EU ruined TLJ for me because I had expectations of awesomeness.

Ha, that's okay. Really a lot of LOTR is a little boring. This is just one of my favorite movie scenes ever.

It's also awesome when they take on the elephants.

They are pretty bad. They are okay from a few feet away, but thats about it.

I remember a lot of people saying Palpatine was going to come back as a clone. Couldn't they just come up with a better character. I heard Snoke isn't that great.

Hmmm. I have to begrudgingly admit I didn't hate those scenes. Maybe its time I go digging for my LotRs DVDs.

So my friend who hated TFA and Rogue One and has been telling me Disney ruined Star Wars for the last two years of course liked TLJ. The girl who dressed up as Rey at comic con with me did not like TLJ.

You should give them a shot!

Is the friend that liked it the one that likes/dislikes the opposite of everything? I'm seeing it tonight. I'm not sure if I'm even excited.

We'll see what happens. I may watch these if you agree to watch the Ultimate Edition of BvS .

Yeah, that's the friend. We guessed he would like it. I've lowered your expectations so much that you'll probably like it now...you're welcome.

I suppose I could watch the ultimate edition of BvS. I've put a ton of movies on Vudu that I still need to watch. War for the Planet of the Apes and Valerian are way up on the list. I need to get on those.

I put up pretty much all of my PFs for sale on the freaks forum. My friend talked me out of selling my Gladiator Hulk. Still not sure what to do with my Speeder Bike PF.

My nephews sent me home with both of their LEGO sets I got them for Christmas. They want me to build them while they’re in Florida.
