I ordered The Sect in the HMV 2 for £25 deal but as The Sect was delayed HMV only got The Church to me yesterday. Not much in the way of bonus features unfortunately

they didn't say, but probably the same as Church
all 3000 are numbered but you maybe get lower number if ordering direct
I never ordered direct this time, as was going to try pick it up in HMV this week

English audio isn't English friendly enough? And what good is an Italian dub if the movie was shot in English?
And I just noticed an error with the OFDB entry. English audio is 2.0 surround not mono.

the description you posted linked says bonus features are in Italian with German Subs ?

and no English subs on main feature (if you want to watch Italian dub)

so not very English friendly imo

Just ordered this and The Church from HMV in a '2 for 25 pounds' offer. The Church said 'back in stock soon' so hopefully it will be!

I knew that I would regret not ordering these two films before they went out of print (The Church was limited to 3000 copies and I assume that The Sect will be too).

Hopefully The Church & The Sect will both turn up.

Just picked it up in my local HMV. Never been bothered by the whole low number thing at all but got 118 anyway.

I watched it last night - film is not as good as The Church (hard act to follow) but PQ and AQ is very good in my opinion. As I said, I'm no expert

Quite right, it isn't as good as The Church. I seem to recall Tomas Arana wearing a bad wig, Herbert Lom giving a dreadful *cough splutter* type performance and the moment where someone is attacked by a handkerchief is risible at best. Still looking forward to it's arrival though.

The moment you speak of is an absolute highlight and very imaginative. Heck, it was even homaged in DRAG ME TO HELL.

It's enjoyable enough, worth repeated viewings but seems to be missing something that the Church had...

My copy of The Sect has dispatched from HMV. Assuming that it arrives in time, I'll watch it on Sunday evening. Looking forward to seeing it in high definition, I've previously only seen The Sect on an Italian dvd and the PQ and English AQ was really shoddy (it had an Italian dts track but no subtitles). It was like watching a film through a lace handkerchief.

No word on The Church yet, hopefully HMV will have it back in stock fairly soon. Before the 3000 copies run out.

Huge bummer this is region B only. I've been waiting for something like a decade to see this. Hopefully a US Blu happens at some point.
