Thanks for the heads-up. Locked subtitles are a bit disappointing, but then again I kept the Italian subtitles on while watching Gurren Lagann just for the names.

Will have to think about it. I'm afraid that by the time I order it, an English BD gets announced shortly afterwards.

Late reply on my end, hadn't seen this. The bulky collector's edition had the errors, but the smaller edition currently available contains amended discs. I think the episode previews are still missing but I think that's the materials provided?

Are the subtitles forced on the french BD of Cat's Eye? Same question for the Italian set? I can add my own English subtitles with the Oppo UDP-203, but I need other subtitles to not be locked.
