I hope they look at the sales for the Season 5 SE, and make any statue set both day-and-date, and available wide, so we loyal collectors don't get screwed again. But honestly, I wouldn't mind if they stop the statues.

I'm hoping that's just a placeholder image. That's a terrible cover.

Limited edition could just mean another tin, or perhaps the digi style artwork sold separately. We should wait and see.

That said, if McFarland is doing this again... Lucille. That's what it needs to be.

There's no way they will just randomly stop after doing 4 in a row

I'd actually like see the RV be represented in a possible special edition.
I know this Dale's RV, but something similar:

August, huh. Too bad I'll have to wait until November. That's when it'll get released in Germany

I'd love to have a garbage dumpster as the limited edition set.

Pull out Glenn from underneath to unlock the dumpster hatch. Open it up and there's the Blu-ray inside.

This season sunk like a ship more and more with each episode but I'll be buying it anyway.

I like the key art they used for the second half of the season better:

It fits more in line with the past covers. The one with the black background and Rick in the "TWD" would standout against the rest in a bad way.

Looking forward to seeing what the special edition statue will be. Whatever it is i'm sure it will look good sitting next to my previous four sets and my new Negan resin statue.

I thought the first half was a bit weak, but I'll probably like it more watching it back to back without having to wait a week for each episode.

The mid-season premier, IMO, was amazing. And I enjoyed every episode after it... up until almost the end. The episode before the final episode was a weird one for me. I have really no emotion towards it whatsoever lol. The finale itself was awesome until they decided to go with that cliffhanger nonsense.

I'll be buying this for sure, despite some of the issues I had with this season.

Yeah I didn't even bother buying the last 2 seasons. But season 6, especially the last half was amazing. Didn't mind the cliffhanger shows have been doing that since the 80s.

I can see that image being used for Target's steelbook.

The collage poster could be used for the Special Edition digipak.

Agree with everything you say. I was annoyed with Negan having facial hair as well, but it turns out that he was still filming 'The Good Wife' at the time and had to keep it for that. He references how he "needs to shave this shit" while in front of Abe for that reason. It's highly unlikely that he'll still have it through next season.

I have to get myself back into this show. I stopped last year when it went on break so I'm missing a season and a half. I really do like the show but sometimes... I just feel like I'm seeing the same thing over and over but I guess the same can be said about any show.

I got an email from Amazon saying the estimated delivery date for this would be August 23rd. That seems soon to me. It's probably just a placeholder for now.

I would say go for it. I know a lot of people were pissed off during portions of this season but I thought it was the best season yet. It gets better every season to me. And the arc they have given Carol is great.
