I hope with a future Men In Black movie they either keep Tommy Lee Jones and Will Smith, bring back Josh Brolin as Agent K and set it in the 60s or replace Will Smith with Kate McKinnon and bump Emma Thompson into a main role.

David Tennant and Karen Gillan wouldn't work. You need a straight man to the one who provides the banter. I like David Tennant and Karen Gillan but I don't think they'd be able to provide the humour necessary to Men In Black.

Now David Tennant and Catherine Tate could work but not David Tennant and Karen Gillan.

Kate McKinnon felt like a cartoon character in Ghostbusters so if she ever touched this series I'd hope she'd be different.

I'm not suggesting she should just play Jillian Holtzmann as a Men In Black series. I'd want her to be more like she is in the 'Close Encounters' SNL sketch somebody posted on the appreciation thread.
