Off course, and I hope my comment didn't come across in a wrong way.
Because you just recently bought the box, I guessed that you were a more casual Trek viewer.
And what I meant was, that unless you're a little bit more into Trek, this release maybe unnecceasary for you, as the transfer of TWOK in the boxset is the best of the lot.

Has anyone found it anywhere else apart from Zavvi. I was hoping for a amaray case with a slipcase.

Amaray case is a given but Paramount gave up on slips in the UK a while back.

As did the Turtles film. But I'd be cynical about a catalogue release getting one.

I'm glad I held myself back from getting the normal blu-ray release. Now I can get this.

Finally a Amazon link for it.

https://www.amazon.co.uk/Star-Trek-W...+Wrath+Of+Khan

Just need to wait for it to come down in price. £10 would be good.

My bad thought they had given up a while ago as I remember a number of Paramount titles didn't have a slip but with this being a catalogue title I wouldn't count on one being included.

Why are you glad? It's actually sad; we've been enjoying the movie on blu-ray for 6 years and you really missed a great movie all that time ...

I find it odd that Zavvi has the steelbook of ST 2 £5 less than than amaray case. I am not a fan off steelbooks but I do like having the poster art more than the horrible red cover.

Is the steelbook exclusive to Zavvi?

I think it is in the UK, but Amazon Italy have the full range.

The Star trek 50th anniversary range is not exclusive to Zavvi. Zoom.co.uk also sell them. I would expect amazon and HMV to follow suit soon.

Edit Amazon sell them as well. Here is the link for the wrath of khan but amazon's prices need to come down before I consider switching,

I think I will make an exception and get the steelbook. I did think of just putting the new disc in the old packaging but I just love the poster art. A bit cheaper would be even better as £15 is a little too high for it.

Still two months away yet, willing to bet the standard amaray release will be around £10 by release day.

Thanks. For some reason I thought Zavvi might have been knocking them out!

A 10% code just come through for Zavvi so have just pre-ordered WOK.

Code is HOUR10 and valid a hour only when it came through 15 minutes ago.

Now back up to £30 at HMV and £20 at Amazon for the amaray case. I really wished we knew if the UK one had a slip.

Only the American version has the affected disc but we won't know for sure until someone plays the UK disc.
