I will also add how much I enjoyed this. It's quite refreshing seeing more & more hard R-rated comedies these days that aren't worried about who they offend. That's how it was in the 80's when I was young, and that's how it should be.

Too many uptight people in this country who get easily offended if you even look at them wrong. lol

Now not everything worked for me in the movie, the 1st police station scene with the 2 moronic cops was so bad it could've ruined the entire movie. But thankfully there was much more funny scenes that outweighed the bad ones.

No R rated cut though I've seen it on streaming services and it's included with UV. They used Screenpass so the movie was already chopped up. They could have fit the rated copy on.

I usually find the unrated cut releases for comedies are just marketing filler. Flow is important with the genre and under most circumstances the added footage was wisely removed from the final draft. Theatrical cuts should arguably always be included with the home video releases, but it is nice to see cutting room floor footage in the extras or through a separate unrated/director's cut.

Thought it was a pretty good movie. Definitely has some pretty funny parts.

Wouldn't have minded seeing "less" of Zac Efron.

Glad I didn't let the 1.5 star review stop me from watching it.

Enjoyable comedy. Had lots of funny parts. It was no worse than any other R-rated comedy out there in the Hangover mold. The only reason people shredded this in reviews is because they wanted to career shame Robert De Niro. The man is a legend who can do whatever he wants and I'd rather see him in a comedy like this dropping the f-bombs like he did in the Scorsese glory days than one of those dumb Focker sequels.

Picked up a unrated copy for $3.99 at Disc Replay.

Can't really go wrong for four bucks (I hope).

Seriously, I like De Niro in comedy movies.


EDIT: Movie was OK for what is. About 50% of the humor worked.

PQ & AQ were really strong, way better than most comedies.
