too bad they aren't offering both the steelbook for Blu-ray and the steelbook for 4K on this release. they do it for some, but not for all and I wonder why? perhaps it's a studio thing. not understanding why the studio would care, it's the same steelbook. I wish they would do that for all future steelbook releases, offer some in regular blu and some in UHD blu.

For Resurgence? Where? Most sites aren't even selling it yet except for the one I knew of. People on here will double the price on Tuesday due to it being a Fox single redemption code for iTunes OR Ultraviolet.

Because this is gonna be $19.99, I think I'm gonna end up getting this despite my feelings about the movie. Will sell the DVD and code to soften the blow. The pics just look too nice, and I'm hoping that I can enjoy the movie more on a rewatch.

The special effects for the first movie in 1996 were ahead of it's time and holds up nicely even today. We have already had movies where cities get blown up and bigger than life space ships but honestly there was nothing FX wise that stood out as WOW that's amazing.

I will not own this unless it's $6.99 on BF. It was a really bad movie and a waste of my money in the theater. It was really, really, really bad. I'd only buy it at all to go with the first movie which I loved. Not sure what positive things can be said about this beyond that the 3D was very good.

How does one safely go about selling codes? I know eBay is a real risk because they are so buyer favored.

X-Men still has about 28 copies left. Ninja Turtles, about a dozen. Surprisingly, no Ghostbusters in sight.

Went to the Union Square store before work and I grabbed 1 of the 3 I saw in the stander. I only saw 1 of Resurgence to get the extra $5 off. Don't know if there were more in the back or not.

The spine of Resurgence is a little elevated. Is there an easy way to fix this?

My best buy put out the shipper that had the first one in it around 1:30. I'm glad I went later today otherwise I would of missed the chance to get it.

The store I went to had the first movie in stock according to the website but none were anywhere to be found. Turns out they didn't even put them out until after 2 p.m. And when they finally did put them out, a bunch more Resurgence steelbooks miraculously appeared too.

Like a lot of people I was going to wait until BF to see if it came down to about $10 to $12 but the steel book just looks too nice !

Plus I had a $5 RZ certificate so that brought it down to $14.99 which I can live with

My Best Buy didn't have the first movie on Steelbook. (Of course!) Lady said "Sometimes we just don't get them."
I said " It's in your flyer for today."
A lot of empty shelves.
Movie media at Best Buy not long for this world...RIP
