Havent caught 1 since I signed up lol I am sitting at a Concert now and theres not 1 damn Pokemon in attendance

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I'm at work and most of the gaming sites are blocked.

My son has an iPad 2 and me and my wife are still rocking iPhone 4S's is there anyway we can download this for my son to mess around with?

I guess she tried to download it for him and she keeps getting error messages or something.

I'm not sure how to do it on idevices as I don't think you can sideload it. I had to side load it to get to work on my Moto e Gen 2.

Ahh well that sucks. I didn't think about using my real name. I used another handle I use that I don't see very much and I was able to get it luckily.

Works fine on my Galaxy S4. It should work on the 4S.

The iPad 2 should work fine but iirc both registration for the PokemonLeague (which is needed to log into the app if you choose not to use a Google account) and the actual app download have been shut off due to demand. The Pokemon League webpage says signups are available in a limited manner and to check back every hour but I was unable to do so all weekend.

You mean something that makes the most sense doesn't make sense to you? The core appeal of the games is getting out in nature and catching pocket monsters. This has always been limited to an abstraction of real life on a static game on a handheld. Now the technology is there to actually do that very thing in everyday life with phones through augmented reality. It's absurd in it's simplicity and amazing that it even took them this long to make it "a thing."

Nintendo is carefully choosing their IP to put on mobile (FE and AC are just begging for micro transactions) and so far it looks like they'll be raking in the money.

Hope it doesn't take Niantic long to put out an update. Game freezes every time I catch a Pokémon. Having to force close and restart constantly.
