Time for another List Thread in the forum! The topic today is "Your Aniplex of America Collection" and the purpose of the thread is to list all the AoA titles you have "bravely" collected over the years. As we all know, AoA titles can be a bit on the salty side price-wise, so it can a bit of a sacrifice for any of us to decide to purchase these titles, when we could be buying many more lower-cost domestic releases to pad our anime collections with for that same price. But, we also know that AoA titles are generally of Japanese-release quality and trump the quality of most domestic releases, so we know our sacrifice is not completely in vain. There is much value in AoA releases to be had, despite their higher cost. Aniplex Releases can go OOP fairly quickly and without much notice, and re-releases are a big rarity with them, so it is always a good thing to snag any AoA titles you want as soon as you possibly can.
So please feel free to post up your list of all the Aniplex of America releases you have in your collection. You can and should include any Aniplex of Japan titles you have collected, either imported through the domestic retailer or directly by yourself. I do find these lists quite useful as supplements to the anime spreadsheets I maintain at home, especially for quick reference, so I hope you will find this thread useful as well!
