The game is meant to be played multiple times and you arent meant to do everything in one playthrough. Its really not that big of an issue. And escort mission is the entire premise of the series. If you cant handle that then you might as well skip all of them

Only thing stopping me from getting it is my backlog.... I am finding it ridiculous that 95% of the games I play are last gen remasters. If I had to describe the current generation of games, it would be very little of interest for new innovative single player games, and most of the games for me were either remasters of games I loved from last gen, or sequels. |

Personally I think the reason why it bothers people so much now is that to a lot of people "indie" games don't count, and if you exclude those the number of released games has gone way down. |

Oh and IA with you on remasters. Uncharted 4 is the only original game Ive played through on my PS4 this year. Everything else has been remasters |

of course they number of games releasing is decreasing .... they are getting to be more involved to make ... and have bigger budgets so im sure publishers expect a better game so they spend more time making it .....

Ok, never heard that thanks. All games unlocked last Monday digital but only Dead Rising went to the main menu while the other two went straight to a Capcom Reserved rights screen.

Picked up the physical version of Dead Rising on PS4 yesterday, plays perfectly and I'm really enjoying it. I've only played the Wii version of Dead Rising before now and while it was well done, this version is way better, for obvious (graphics) and not so obvious reasons (those poodles and parrots can go to hell).
Also, I heard people that played the game on 360 had trouble with the convict psychos (constant respawns and constant annoyance), but I didn't, they didn't bother me unless I bother them (they kept ramming the same tree over and over until I came to them) and once I got Adam's chainsaws and got to level 13, they were a cake walk. I don't know if they fixed that respawn glitch and made them dumber for this remaster, or I just got lucky. |

Nope, it's something wrong with your games. Both worked fine for me. Just tested them out.

If Dead Rising was just about confronting zombies, I'd be happy, but the most challenging aspects of the game revolve around fighting very tough and very cheap hit humans. The guy in the truck, driving around the courtyard in Dead Rising 1 for example. Very unfair and unfun.

Honestly I wouldn't even reccomend trying not the story in DR1 until after you're at least level 25-50. Take a play through to learn the layout, learn locations of weapons, and level up frank. The game is damn near impossible if you actually try to beat it at level 1. The final boss of the true ending actually pretty much IS impossible until you're late 40's, or max level.

After fiddling around with going in & out of app for 30 minutes I was able to get Dead Rising 2: Off the Record to the main menu. Played a bit to get to a save point. Saved game. Closed app. Restarted & right back to the Capcom reserved rights screen.

Started playing it yesterday and its still as fun as it was on 360. And saving survivors is still a pain in the ass as their AI is terrible. |

I remember playing Dead Rising 1 (and Off the Record), looking out the window of the 2nd floor at the outdoor parking lot and distant town and thinking, "It would be nice if you could also leave the mall and visit that parking lot, town and rural area." Looks like Dead Rising 4 answers that by allowing Frank West to explore the town and the mall of Williamette.

![]() Yeah, the AI citizens I often left behind when they did dumb things, like going into a crowd of zombies instead of around them. Quote:
A triple pack for 29.99, that would be nice, agreed. I'm sure the price may drop to that eventually. |

Oh man that first Dead Rising is so clunky. I've never played it, but did play 2 and Off the Record on the ps3, but I don't remember those being this bad... I had to look up Google to see when the first game was released. I thought it must have been a first gen Xbox game. Not a 360 gen.
