They actually also put out this 6 Movie Pack which did indeed come with Blood Diner.

I agree one hundred billion percent. I'd love an se of Repossessed. It isn't Vestron but it's owned by LG. It's one of my favorite Leslie Nielsen titles and I would love to get a widescreen bluray.

Here are some titles I'm hoping for in this collection

Waxwork
Radioactive Dreams (from what I hear already has an HD master)
Rawhead Rex
Slaughter High
The Unholy
Holocaust 2000

Man, the Vestron catalog was one of the "go-to" lines of VHS glory back in my day, along with Full Moon and Cannon. Having a friend who's parents owned a video store sure helped a lot in our choices of films.

Which is why I mentioned it.

Plus it's a much better sequel to The Exorcist than Exorcist II is.

If they're planning on releasing non-horror films also, then Naked Obsession would be awesome!

Some of these are controlled by other studios. The Changeling is HBO/Warner. Incubus has already gotten a DVD release through Scorpion and Superstition is StudioCanal. Also, many other Vestron titles have already received DVD releases through companies like Code Red. Lots of titles originally distributed by Vestron are now with someone else.

I'll definitely be getting Chopping Mall. Now I just hope that Class of 1999, Slaughter High, and Rawhead Rex are part of the line going forward. They would be my definite buys. Hope it's a success for Lionsgate so they might possibly be convinced to parlay that success into giving other non Vestron titles in their horror catalog the proper tlc they need like ROTLD 3, Hellraiser 3 & Wishmaster just to name a few. Would be great to have a big studio, especially one with so many great 80's and 90's horror genre films in it, as a reliable horror go-to going forward alongside the smaller specialty labels like Scream and Arrow.

Yeah, it would be easier just to come up with every horror title that Lionsgate currently has. Any of them are candidates for this line.

Very cool collection of Vestron tapes, but many of them are not actually with Vestron (well, LG ).

Those extras sound awesome even new transfers from the negatives and stuff.

I hope Warlock, The Gate, Near Dark, Dead of Night 1945 and other Lionsgate owned stuff is next.

I honestly don't think Lionsgate will give a damn about technicalities from the VHS days and will have every cult/horror catalogue title in this series, regardless if they were released on Vestron back in the day or not.

So I think we'll get everything from the two movies that are coming out next month to stuff like Return of the Living Dead 3, Metamorphosis: The Alien Factor, Evolver (a personal pipedream blu-ray release candidate), Santa's Slay (another killer candidate for a great blu-ray release even though its probably a decade old at best) and whatnot.

Waxwork, The Gate, and Hellraiser III would be the most likely candidates in my mind for the next few releases. All 3 have HD masters available, haven't been released in the US, and will sell as well as or better than what's announced thus far. Waxwork II isn't likely anytime soon as there is currently no HD master.

The Wraith is currently in 1080p on Amazon Prime, so hopefully a Blu Ray release is incoming.

So this DVD set seems like a no-brainer at around $6.50 from Amazon for those like me who haven't seen all of these, but want to before possible BD upgrades are available to see if I want to pay the prices for the possible BDs.

And regardless of possible future BDs of any of these DVD films coming out or not, I want to see some of these I haven't seen yet.

For those who own this, is the quality pretty bad? Bad but watchable? Decent? Good overall?

And are they all in 1:33 or are any widescreen?

Any info would be greatly appreciated -- as I said it seems like a no-brainer anyway, and I'll probably pull the trigger soon, but figured it wouldn't hurt to know what to expect at the very least.
