Based on what's listed I'm assuming this is going to be a single disc BD50 release, but if Lionsgate wants to continue to wow me and really send collectors a powerful message about taking the line seriously these 2 films will each come on their own discs. If that means 2 BD25's instead, so be it. Separate discs are always worth extra recognition.

Can't wait to get this one, my favorite of the announced titles and can't wait to listen to the commentaries on both films. Always loved Zach Galligan.

Hopefully they'll eventually release Psychic with him & Catherine Mary Stewart. That was one of my rental faves back in the day, such a great video cover.

It's guaranteed to be one disc, but even if it weren't, the release would still be one case with the cover art split between the two films, so I'm not sure how much difference it would actually make in the presentation. Wouldn't there be extra cost concerns involved with pressing a second disc?

I definitely don't like double-feature discs when the films don't really belong together, like the Reptilicus/Tentacles disc, or when one is awful and unconnected, like Hot Spot/Killing Me Softly and The Outing/Godsend, and in those cases I'd actually prefer the lesser film not be included at all, even if the price were unchanged.

I will be greatly disappointed if Waxwork is not the full uncut version. The cut version dilutes the movie so bad it might as well be PG-13

I have never seen part II but the first one i watched all the time and it was the uncut version.I know the DVD version is cut. Hope the Bluray does not alter the same fate.

The 2 discs is great. So far Lionsgate seems to be doing everything right with this Vestron revival.

I know Amazon's specs should be taken with a grain of salt either way, but could the two discs be a combo pack? The listing does say '[DVD] [Blu-ray]'. (There's no DVD logo above/below the BD one on the spine though, as far as I can see.)

Great, now I'm paranoid that this may be 1 Blu Ray for Waxwork and 1 DVD for Waxwork II. Waxwork has had an HD master for years... Waxwork 2 has not. This very well could turn out to be one Blu Ray and One DVD though I'm hopeful it's two Blu Rays.

Not only that, but the same people who work on extras for Shout are doing extras for LG/Vestron as well. These releases are going to be great !!

I hope that means Red Shirt! (I forget the name of the other company they sometimes use, but people had complained about the quality of the production, whoever they were.) I suspected as much, given Cliff's apparent knowledge of this Vestron line. Good news!
