YES!!! A new blu-ray release of Creepshow 2 from Arrow!
I was hoping this would happen, and it did!
A new 2K master sounds good and a bunch of extras! Need this limited edition so bad!

I hope this doesn't have scenes cut like the older blu ray, but I didn't see any mention of it in the special features. This move isn't worth getting if it isn't uncut imo.

Limited Edition for me. I actually like Ol Chief Woodenhead... It's a good EC style story, and the effects on Woodenhead are great, but Dorothy Lamour's acting is absolutely atrocious. The Raft is okay, but doesn't feel like an EC story. And "Thanks for the Ride Lady!" < "I Want My Cake!"

I LOVE Creepshow, I've watched it probably 20 times at least, and I really don't like Creepshow 2 all that much....but THANKS FOR THE RIDE LADY >>>> I WANT MY CAKE!! My favorite is quite a ways in when he opens her door and goes "thanks for the ride, lady. Thanks for the ride." all casually, like he's being sincere and is in a hurry or something. It becomes hilarious well before the end, it's awesome. That segment more than justifies the existence of the movie after the boring segment about a totally ridiculous creep and ridiculously saintly old folks and the Stephen King adaptation about an oily raincoat. The first segment might have worked in Creepshow 1, where it would have been ten minutes shorter (at least!!), but it's just beaten so far into the ground that I'm very sick of it well before the climax.

Yeah, I don't dig the George Kennedy segment either. He deserved better than that at the end of his career.

I like the rest of it though.... I'd probably give the original Creepshow an 8/10 while giving Creepshow 2 a 6.5/10. It's worth owning and I will pick it up soon, but it's not as good as the original.

I'm a huge fan of creepshow 2 and I'll definitely be buying the new arrow release. The 88 films release was ok but my expectations are through the roof for arrows release.

I know I'm in the minority here but I like 2 a lot more then 1. The raft is my favorite segment from the series and old chief wooden head is a pretty close 2nd.

"I'm not ****in around when it comes to this hair, this hair took me nine years to grow."

"This hair is gonna get me paid and laid."

Two quotes I use in real life all the time since I grew my hair out.

Thanks for the ride Lady!

Fantastic news! I'll gladly double dip and trade off the IMAGE release.

Pretty excited for this! I loved creepshow 1 and 2. On another note anyone remember the horrible third creepshow? It was sooooo bad!

In my mind, Tales from the Darkside: The Movie is Creepshow 3. The other one doesn't exist to me.

What bluray release for Creepshow 1 is a good compliment to this?

Can't argue with that. I think a lot of people would definitely agree.

I believe Creepshow 2 would have gotten more love if it included the cat segment from "Tales from the Darkside". As it stands, three segments seems too short.

The 88 release have some nice new interviews from Red Shirt pictures though. Where as the Arrow ports everything from the old Anchor Bay dvd. Have to own both for completists sake i think.
The new 2K restoration is the godsend here.

Does the 88 version look bad, or just kind of unspectacular?

I would definitely put it up there if that would've included *at least* one more story.

Anybody know why the budget was so low on this one? If I recall... it was half the budget of the first one???

I'm not an expert in analyzing PQ but I thought the 88 films release was pretty good. Not bad at all.
