81% on Rotten Tomatoes and 69 on metacritic suggests that is not a common opinion. I saw it last night, and felt it is a bit disappointing for a movie directed by Nick Park, but still entertaining and not even the studios worst film (I'd say that is Pirates! Band of Misfits)

IMO Flushed Away is their weakest, then Pirates! This is much better than both because it's a pure unadulterated Nick Park comedy, it may have little plot and flimsy characterisation, but it's simply a lot of fun.

I like Aardman. Curse of the Were-rabbit is one of my top ten animated movies. Maybe even top five. But the trailers for this don't just do nothing for me, they make it look actively bad.

New Line Cinema I got to see this movie last night and I loved almost every minute of it

I got to see this movie last night and I loved almost every minute of it. I felt this way for several reasons one I was able to really relate with the main character dug and too this movie is just super hilarious and the fact that none of the movie takes itself seriously was really cool. In short I recommend anyone who liked Shaun the sheep the movie or Wallace and gromit curse of the were rabbit to go see this film you will enjoy it just as much as those films.

Yeah Pirates! is a fun film, I shouldn't really say Early Man is much better it's just funnier really. IMO they haven't made a bad film and Flushed Away is pretty fun but rather disposable imo.

I'd put Arthur Christmas before Pirates!. That had to have been Aardman's second weakest behind Flushed Away.

I just saw Early Man last night, and I thought the story was kind of predictable. I liked the Shaun the Sheep movie more.

Pirates! is my favorite Aardman movie, my favorite piece of Aardman work in general is A Close Shave.

Storyline was so pedestrian. And a lot of the jokes fell flat.

There was only 1 other person in the theater. On a Saturday afternoon on release weekend. So sad.

You think that's sad? It came out in the UK weeks ago and I think I'm the only one on here from the UK other than Foggy who commented on seeing the film!

$3M opening weekend. Even though, I was disappointed by the story, the animaton/colors were beautiful. Still going to get the Blu for that.
