Well- not YET- I'm getting divorced and told my parents to help cheer me up- Blu could get me feeling a lot less Blue- they weren't going to- but seeing as I REALLY REALLY wanted it- and I'm sucha great son and they LOVe me- I WILL be getting one later this Week!!

I have NO idea what to get first- but the Pirates Trilogy is a no brainer! I don't know if it'llbe a plyaer or a 40 GB PS3- I know they were considering the 40 GB PS3- but since Blu Ray Players went down- they may havve ordered on offline and are waiting for it to arrive!

Litlte PO'd though- I found the Pan's Labyrinth on a limited sale price two weeks ago at the store I work at- the 2 disc edition for 7.99- NOW the Blu ray version is available- but it's all good- SO EXCITED!

My whole family knows how crazy I am for Blu this year (I started in Mar 07) and gave me a nice collection:

a. Spider-Man Trilogy (from one of my twin boys)
b. Die Hard Collection (from the other twin son)
c. FF: Rise of the Silver Surfer (from the wife)

My wife also got Season 6 of "24" for me. This was the only standard DVD I have received or bought since March. Christmas bumped up my Blu-Ray collection to 49 movies! I need to get a special Blu-Ray title for an even "50". Maybe "Lethal Weapon" or "First Blood".

Just the week before Christmas I picked up "Blade Runner Complete Collector's Edition" and "Close Encounters of the Third Kind".

All in all, a nice Christmas and a great December for Blu at my household.

While "The Shining" and "Clockwork Orange" are two great movies that I have seen (and I have "The Shining" on Blu), you simply CANNOT go wrong with "Blade Runner"! What a deal with the Complete Collector's Edition: All 5 versions of the movie are in 1080P. This is too good to pass up!

I ask people not to give me gifts like that. But if someone knows me really well, they'll give it anyway (like obscure foreign titles that I may not have access to). But Blu-ray is not yet wide spread enough for that. So nope, nothing But I have all the discs I want for now, several on pre-order and some overseas orders. (And my traditional Christmas is a couple weeks away anyway...)

I got the Harry Potter 5 disk BD set (no HD-DVD mistakes), Pirates AWE BD, Spiderman 3 BD, Blade Runner 5 disk BD set, and Stardust DVD (damn Paramount!). I can't wait to watch them. Merry Christmas to all!
