This looks great to me! I loved the first two in this reboot series, so I'm definitely in for this.

I'll probably preorder the digital Croft edition as I like to show support for AAA single player games in this era of focusing on multiplayer and service games.

I've never pre-ordered a video game and only buy games that are used or super discounted but this is the first game I've been waiting for. A lot of comments on an article say that there's no point in pre-ordering a game because it will go down in price within 6 months and a definitive edition will be out within a year...BUT I decided early on that I wanted to get the steelbook/ultimate edition of this game.

What are the chances the steelbook/ultimate edition will go down in price before release or after release and still be in stock? Should I just pre-order since I want all the extras?

$199.99 seems a little steep. I'm kinda torn whether to buy it or not. I really do like that statue though, but it being a square Enix exclusive is...meh.

Amazon is offering a standard edition steelbook (for the regular game price, $59.99, $47.99/prime). Croft edition steelbook is $89.99.

Count me as another who loved the first two games in the reboot series, so this is a very welcome one on my upcoming video game docket. Man, this fall is shaping up to me amazing for games. Unfortunately, it's right smack dab during football season.

I'm just excited to explore Mayan ruins. After Egypt in AC Origins and the Norse mythology of God of War, I'm so in for another exploration of an ancient civilization/belief system

Probably going to wait till the definitive edition comes out with all the content like I did for tomb raider definitive edition ps4 and rise of the tomb raider 20 year anniversary ps4

I first played the 2013 reboot on my MacBook Air(! I hadn't played any modern games in forever, so the low settings didn't bother me) and then bought my PS4 primarily to replay that game. I'm all geeked out and I can't wait. I'll be pre-ordering the $90 Croft edition steelbook thingy.

A statue, bottle opener, and flashlight for roughly double the price seems like a pretty easy "no" for me. But I'm not really someone who wants figurines and stuff decorating my spaces.
