It's been such a loooong time since anything I cared about came out on Criterion. Day one here no question. I'll add it to the Joan Crawford on Blu thread as soon as I get to a PC.

I know rights are a huge issue but stuff like that would make awesome supplements. When Apocalypse Now hit BD I would have loved for them to include the Martin Sheen 'Coppola's gone mad' SNL skit and there are tons of things like that out there.

I'm not a big 'stuff on my walls' person but I would absolutely buy a print of that art. The only other time I've felt a strong, visceral 'wow, I want that art' was the Sweet Smell of Success piece in my avatar.

Well, I spent almost a year semi-seriously lobbying for them to release The Ghost and Mr. Chicken (which just got a very nice release from the studio - attaboy, Universal) so I'm not going to cast any stones here

They do have Safe which I've never seen. I've had it on my, well, not short list, I guess but let's say medium list. I might need to bump it up.

Mildred Pierce and Carol are my only exposure to him but both were very impressive.

I absolutely hate their paper cases. I wish every Criterion release was in plastic. It's so irritating.

I just used Vudu's disc-to-digital to put an HD copy in my account and can move the DVD over to the trade pile! I love Criterion releasing these classic Warner films!
