I'll probably be getting mine tomorrow, they're only an hour away.

They are beautiful. They have nice texture on the characters and are really shiny!

I'm really not sure what you mean by it not being a 'true digibook' because I've never seen an untrue digibook. But regardless, I'm looking forward to receiving my copies next week.
The term "storybook" they kept using had me worried it was gonna be like the storybook that came with The Pirate Fairy, like this:

So I would call this an "untrue digibook" imo. I saw the pictures huntersullivan20 posted. No problem double-dipping to get that and add to my Disney digibook collection, that I posted to my Instagram here:

I'm not sure why Target refers to their exclusives as storybooks. Well I guess I do know why, because the pages are stories about the movie, even though it's basically a digibook. But then again, who's to say what qualifies as a digibook, storybook, etc. I guess manufacturers and retailers can call them whatever they choose. I can't speak for the quality of the Pirate Fairy Blu-ray because I never saw it in person. But for all other Disney Target exclusives that I have purchased, they've all been true or standard storybooks/digibooks. I haven't purchased anything 'untue' from Target, unless you count the X-men Apocalypse yearbook bluray. I have no clue if that's a true yearbook or untrue yearbook, or maybe even a scrapbook.

Will probably pick one up for an online friend from Slovenia. Even know the movie won't be for me, this will be the first time I have bought a Blu Ray in almost a year.

It looks pretty cool from the pictures. I stopped collecting the storybooks a few releases ago though for a few reasons: 1) they tend to sell out around here before the Tuesday work day is over 2) ran out of $5 DMR coupons and the SK points have dried up 3) would rather have the 3D editions for movies offering them like Brave, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid 4) price hikes 5) just not as excited about 'collecting' as I used to be.

Saw 14 copies at my local Target. Was happy to see that not a won of them had been tangled up in the spiderwrap trap

Mine just came in the mail!

Indeed nice embossing - not just the title, but also Pinocchio and Jiminy! Very cool!

Finally picked up a copy after being lazy & not grabbing one on release week. Had to turn to the bay & ended up paying $8 over what I would have paid at Target. Dumb me.
