I would hazard a guess, that Warner (along with the other participating studios) has as a part of its agreement with Disney and their Movies Anywhere (MA) service, a clause which requires them to promote MA redeem over UV redeem (even when that UV service and redeem is still offered for a movie). Of course, this is in response to MA's existence in the US market, and Disney's likely desire to dominate said market (and the participating studios' desire to follow their lead in this). Since Disney is not offering MA service in any other countries (yet), where does this leave everyone else? They don't care. |
