American Honey sounds interesting but that three-hour run time scares me. I'd have to REALLY be in the mood for it. And most likely not 100% sober.

One of my issues. There was no need for it be that long. It was long for long's sake. It could have been a 2 hour flat movie and still said the same things and had the same effect.

American Honey is pretty good but unfortunately about halfway through there's these three hilarious wannabe cowboys who are far more interesting than the main characters. I wished the film just followed them around for three hours instead.

In general I'd agree with the sentiment, but you literally have a Tank Girl avatar.

The Conjuring 2 was very close to making my list. Really enjoyed that one and much more than the first. Though that probably has quite a bit to do with having different expectations of either.
Sully is the first to make my list, which I had at #25.
I'm sure there are a couple of mine that might not have ranked at all. Your Name and Miss Sloane especially.

I would like to see perhaps just a simplified listing of 100-50. Maybe when we finish, as I would be very interested to see.

Popstar was terrible, while Everybody Wants Some!! is way too low. Come on people!

If Civil War breaks the top 3 (It will), I'm going to burn this thread down!

That was my thoughts for Everybody Wants Some. It was near the bottom of the 68 movies I watched from last year. I only had Ghostbusters, Zoolander 2 and Clown ranked lower.

I'm fine with people disliking "Everybody Wants Some!!", although I did enjoy it myself and it did make my top 25. As one of my friends did not understand why. His major complaint being the movie just goes along and has nothing to say at all. And he didn't think those typical student adventures were funny or memorable. I can see that. Worked for me, but it's not hard to understand why many think otherwise.

So far only Popstar(#12) on my list.

I was a pretty big fan of The Lonely Island about seven or eight years ago, but let this movie slip through the cracks because the trailers looked iffy, but I gave it a shot OD based on seeing it on a few lists and the short run time(87 min).

It won't be for everyone, but there's some great industry humor and cameos and if you ever enjoyed anything from The Lonely Island, this movie is definitely worth a watch.

So far nothing on my list is in the first batch of films. I have a feeling that this will be a common theme.

I'm glad "I, Daniel Blake" placed. Notice how it has only 11 votes but 2 people put it as number 1? That's because it's amazing but few people have seen it. Watch it! Watch it now!

It never hit any theatres near me

As soon as I can find an easy way to watch it, I will.

I had pretty much the same reaction. It was nicely directed and acted, but it just felt like a great soundtrack in search of a plot. Didn't hate it, just kinda "meh".

50: The Shallows--16 on my list. Surprised it didn't rank higher, I thought it was fairly successful and well-liked.
49: Popstar--haven't seen.
48: Finding Dory--was okay with the film, didn't vote on it.
47: I, Daniel Blake--who the f is Daniel Blake?
46: Sully--saw it just before the deadline, didn't like it enough to vote on it.
45: Patriots Day--haven't heard of it.
44: Everybody Wants Some!!--wasn't a fan. Not everybody wants some.
43: X-Men: Apocalypse--seems like it's so cool to hate on this movie right now, so this placement sounds about right. Came in 11th for me.
42: The Conjuring 2--was okay with it. I think I nudged it off my list in favor of other movies.
41: American Honey--heard of it, haven't seen it yet. Didn't know it was three hours, holy cow.
