just recieved the latest digi with the box..

it´s all nice... BUT (and that´s a BIG ONE)

the box has been designed for ALL VERSIONS - it´s a one size fits all.. or better say one size doesn´t fit ANYTHING

it´s kinda sturdy.. nice images and all.. BUT for the BLU digis it´s way too big and there´s still lot´s empty space left... even more so I assume if you have the keepcase versions.. + those others with the DVD versions should have them sticking out the box even more

I mean I get the concept to save and make only one box.. but I seriously doubt anyone will be fully happy with this, I know I am NOT

My Season 6 set arrived today as well. I bought the same edition as "Toby_R", the Season 6-Digipack with the additional Boxset for all seasons. I have no idea what Capelight was thinking when they designed the so aptly named "one size doesn´t fit ANYTHING"-Box by "Toby_R". The Box is to big for the Digipacks so it should be way, way to big for the amary versions... Ridiculous.

The season itself is very similar to what's been on the previous five sets. Meaning the video are the US-Picture-Masters again, with four episodes on each of the five included discs. Audio is English and German in DTS-Master HD 5.1 Audio and (optional) subtitles in English and German. Menus are German only but very easy to navigate. All extras on the last disc. Each disc has a skippable Trailer before the Main Menu. And of course the discs are region free again, even though the packing states Region B. The small "booklet" with the episode titles in German and English is also included again.

Now that all seasons are available, apart from the strange complete box I'm really happy, that Capelight actually released the whole show on Blu-Ray at all and didn't split any seasons like the US-Versions. They also released them with great picture and sound and included some extras. If you're a fan of the series you can't go wrong with these releases.

After putting everything in that box, I thought I was missing a season or they split up a season into two releases.

To top it off, my slipcase for the digipack wasn't even glued together.

But, yeah, I would've rather saved the money and skipped the box.

I guess so - they sent me a replacement and it's exactly the same. Did anyone buy it without the collector's box? I wonder if it's limited to the ones shipped with the box or if the regular versions were actually glued together.... Is what is weird is there is a glue strip there, it just apparently wasn't strong enough.

Hi. So i have a few questions. For starters, does anyone know if the complete limited box shelf friendly or not (i'm guessing not, but hope it is). Second, are the amary cases smaller than the digipacks? (IE thicker and/or taller). And lastly, does anyone know if the french releases really only have French subtitles or if they have english too like the German ones?

I had my eye on getting the complete series (German release) with all seasons in Digipack format however that's now out of stock on Amazon & ridiculously overpriced on Ebay, am i right to assume it's now OOP?

One other thing i noticed if i was to get them individually the Digipack for Season 2 is also out of stock & the softbox (amaray) version of Season 3 is out of stock so no matter which one i choose to go for i'll be left with an odd looking set

Thankfully Season 3's softbox release is the only one out of stock so i might just get them all in softboxes with the exception of S3 and get the digipack version for that & just keep an eye out if the softbox ever becomes available again.

Have ordered S1 from Amazon, should arrive tomorrow

Same here haha, because these cost quite a bit i've limited myself to only buying no more than two seasons a month...i was really hoping the boxset would come back in stock but i guess they have no plans to do that atm.

With the announcement of the movie coming out in 2022 it would be great if they released the Blu-ray's in the US or UK for that matter

So i took the plunge and got Seasons 2 & 4-6 aswell because Amazon removed S4-6 from the UK site & i didn't wanna risk not being able to get them at a later date so i got them from Amazon DE. Only issue is Season 3, the digipack is available on Amazon but can't find the amaray version anywhere else. If anyone can point me in the right direction on where i can get it that would be much appreciated. Can't wait to rewatch everything in anticipation for the Movie!

True, i just went ahead and got the S3 Digipack too lol but i will still keep an eye out for the amaray version. The info on the back of every season says subtitles "Untertittel" is Deutsch only but English (SDH) is included on all of them

Thanks. I've seen for years that the back cover only says they have German subs, but have been curious if it was correct that English was there too, so again thank you for the response.
