Robin's costume looks pretty good, though the trend in superhero shows these days is less and less screen time for the full costume.

My hope for this WB DC Digital show is that they treat it like Netflix and Marvel do their shows. And go with One Cohesive plot, hopefully for like 10-13 episodes for tight nit well written story.

We shall see...

Also even though they are debuting the Robin Look does not mean it is going to be Robin the whole series I guess, they can transition him to Nightwings, or in theory this could be for flashbacks.

Regardless now we have 3 confirmed unique shows for this DC Service:
Titans
Young Justice S3 (+ more I hope)
Harley Quinn Animated Series.

No clue about the service and how it will role out or about pricing regions etc.

I am still hoping they go with ad supported free model but from the way CBS and now Disney/ABC are going I am seeing that as less and less likely. But We shall see I hope to be proven wrong.

They've already stated that they want Titans to stand on its own first before deciding whether to include it in the Arrowverse. I think they'll do what they've done with previous shows like Arrow, Flash, Supergirl and Legends ... wait until the new series can stand on its own before having crossovers with with the other shows. I think the for the second season of Titans, we could see Titans cross over with Arrow, Flash, Legends and Supergirl since Geoff Johns and Gregg Berlanti are both working on the new series as well.

I think if ratings or the feedback starts to turn on Titans, Johns and Berlanti could make the bold move to hold a mini cross over with Titans to see if there would be a ratings boost. Such as Barry Allen being called in for a crossover to held Dick Grayson/Nightwing solve a mystery or crime, leading to a mass crossover for the second season. That's how Barry Allen was introduced into the Arrowverse through his pre-Flash days in an early season of Arrow. When Supergirl made the jump, Barry made a single episode guest appearance Supergirl during the first season and ratings soared, even though Supergirl ratings for CBS were lagging. That episode boosted Supergirl's numbers by indirectly tying it into the Arrowverse.

Expect the same kind of formula to be used for Titans. If there is a mini cross over during the first season, I think it will be more of a peripheral crossover. No superheroes mind you, just their normal counterparts. Personally? I'd like to see Barry Allen and/or Felicity make an appearance as their normal counterparts.

Cast Update:

Quote:
Titans Casts Drop Dead Diva Star as Rita Farr (aka Elasti-Girl)

Titans‘ latest casting isn’t as much of a stretch as it sounds. (Sorry, but there was no avoiding that pun.)

April Bowlby, best known for playing Stacy Barrett on all six seasons of Drop Dead Diva, has joined the cast of the DC drama, Entertainment Weekly reports. Bowlby will appear as Rita Farr, who adapts the moniker of Elasti-Girl — not to be confused with the Incredibles matriarch of the same name — after a toxic gas changes her cellular makeup and allows her to change size at will. She’ll be introduced in Episode 5, titled “Doom Patrol.”

From executive producers Akiva Goldsman, Geoff Johns, Greg Berlanti and Sarah Schechter, Titans — which will debut on DC’s yet-untitled streaming service later this year — follows Dick Grayson’s Robin (played by Brenton Thwaites) as he steps out of Batman’s shadow and assembles a motley crew of crimefighters, ranging from an alien warrior princess to a green-skinned boy with the ability to turn into animals.

The series also stars Anna Diop (24: Legacy) as Koriand’r/Starfire, Teagan Croft as Raven, Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6: The Series) as Garfield Logan/Beast Boy, Alan Ritchson (Blood Drive) as Hank Hall/Hawk, Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights) as Dawn Granger/Dove and Lindsey Gort (The Carrie Diaries) as Detective Amy Rohrbach.

Castle‘s Seamus Dever will also recur, as will Narcos‘ Bruno Bichir.

The main problem with it being in the Arrowverse would be how to mesh it in with the obvious Batman connections where there isn't yet a Batman on the show... unless they want to have it part of Earth 2 or Earth-S (does Supergirl's have a designation?) and just have the crossovers not so casual, like how anybody from Arrow, Flash, or LoT can be on there just because but Supergirl has to have a specific reason.

Plus, like with Riverdale and the upcoming Sabrina show, I wouldn't think they could have big crossovers where one story plays out on all shows since they're different networks.

Apart from Minka Kelly and Brenton Thwaites, I think the only person I know of already is Seamus Dever.

Apart from the terrible casting of Starfire i was hopeful for the rest, especially after that great Robin picture. But those photos are horrid! And Starfire somehow looks even worse then imagined!

They have to be adding CGI later on or something else is going on (like they have an image inducer in this scene). There's no way they get the Robin and Hawk and Dove suits so perfect and then completely mess up the other characters. Hopefully they are some official shots soon.

Some of the costume designs have been spot on but Raven? Starfire? These designs are as horrible as I thought they would be. Diop looks like some hootchie mama hooker waiting for her pimp. Pink hair? Seriously? Raven looks like some failed attempt at emo. Changeling, Hawk and Dove, Robin look spot on. But the rest have turned into a failed experiment.

I can’t believe they made Starfire look like that. The hair is atrocious too.
