Back cover, text is blurry due to low dpi and possibly printer isn't the same as mass release. Not as many screenshots as the DVD release either!
Film looks phenomenal though. It's such a step up from the DVD that it feels like a completely new experience. Strange since I have probably seen this one over ten, fifteen times over my life from the theatre to VHS to DVD. Everything is crisp with detail and even all imperfections of cel animation on top of dark, chalky paintings shows through. It's just a shame this package is so barebones. Strange, because you would think WB would market this one as part of their sure thing of Batman being a huge seller, and a pretty revered title at that. Oh well. |

38 days it took for me to get my order...
![]() So not the GREATEST first experience with them. Yeah, the prices were a few bucks lower than amazon.ca or other places and the shipping was free, but if I have to pay a few bucks for shipping to get my order in two weeks as opposed to 5 weeks, that's a sacrifice I'm willing to make. It's also possible that my order spent time in customs, however, I wouldn't have any idea because they never provided me with a tracking number that actually tracked the package. Every time I tried it simply came up as an error or a non-existent tracking number... So... yeah... there's a few things to think about before I place my next order with them unfortunately. |

I'm just about ready to place my first order with them but since I'm looking at 3-4 titles (so about $100) I'm wondering if I should split the order to avoid paying duties. By reading this thread it looks like some have split orders, some have not but nobody has complained about paying duties so perhaps it's safe? It's been years since I've ordered anything from the States and I've been hit twice in the past (other sites and type of goods). Any advice? Thanks.

They ship items out individually. They use cardboard "envelopes".

Not necessarily. For some of my orders of 5-6 titles, they have been shipped in an appropriately sized box. One time a title was backordered and it came separately in a cardboard "sticky" mailer. |

A bunch of KL Studio Classics blu-rays are on sale at WowHd ranging in price from $12.77 - $15. I'm guessing this matches the Deep Discount BOGO.

Got four titles for $58.69:
The Little Girl Who Lives Down the Lane, No Highway in the Sky, Daredevils of the Red Circle and The Adventures of Captain Marvel. What's everyone else getting? I already have a few Kino titles; any suggestions for their best releases? |

Prices are better on a bunch of new titles than what I paid at the Kino site, like Red Line 7000 & Captain Marvel which were I think $14.97US.
Prices good on the couple Bob Hope titles I wanted, which for some reason Kino won't ship to Canada. 1st time I have ordered from this site, & after I put in the order 10 minutes ago I read thru the rest of this thread & saw how some people had trouble with orders. Oh well. |

I wanted to mention this earlier but yes, several films went up to $16.18 from the $14 range. How do I know this? Because I kept note on some possible purchases, lol. It just figures, when something comes up and I have to put it off until the next day. Oh well, just movies and only a couple extra bucks. Not the end of the world. I'll be fine.........
