I have that hardbox. PQ is actually decent. Until someone clears the rights this bootleg will tide me over. I think Code Red got the ball rolling with this, didn't they?

Although both Irwin Yablans and Joseph Wolf of Compass International Pictures have producer, executive producer or associate producer credits on both films, I'm under the impression that Hell Night is owned by producer, Bruce Cohn Curtis, while Fade to Black is owned by producer, George G. Braunstein.

There is no truth to this at this time. If and when we can secure a title, we will announce it publicly and confirm it. Thanks

Evasion? Who knows, but I like that they can still surprise us with a hard confirm with the artwork if its actually happening

My guess is that all the t's aren't quite crossed and all the i's not yet dotted, but I'd be very surprised to find out this leak was totally false.

It'd be a heck of a coincidence for retail information to go out to multiple, credible retailers with what appears to be a legit Shout! Factory EAN (0826663178555) for one of their most requested titles.

While not a huge fan of this film (I own it on the double feature disc with Fade to Black- now THAT is a classic), I'm always happy to hear about these releases because it bodes well for the things I'd love to get on Blu-ray. (Fade to Black being one of them of course, but would also LOVE to see the rarely remembered other 1981 horror flick Fear No Evil get a decent release, as well as Blood Beach.) So good for SF for keeping the titles rolling. They are far and away the best label for genre lovers like us.

SF can deny it all they want but we all know they're releasing this for sure. There's no way those retailers would put up a false listing for it.

It would certainly be great to see this film receive a blu ray release. Let's hope that if it does materialize, we're not going to have to deal with another disc replacement program.

Great if its true but at the same time, it's mighty uncool of Barnes and Noble to list it on their website before an official announcement from the company is made. Not very professional, imo.

I for one need a scream factory collectors edition of Hell Night in my life. Very cool if it's happening.

I remember seeing the VHS box for this one at the video store, but I've never actually seen the film itself. It looks like fun and worth a blind-buy.

It's one of the better early '80s horror films. I've always enjoyed this film, and definitely think you wouldn't be disappointed...
